LDU Coffee To Go — Restaurant in Dallas

Good coffee and the service is good until it isn’t! I’ve patronized this business since it opened in my neighborhood. I am a regular customer. Last year I mistakenly ordered from the wrong location. They would not allow me to get my order made there. They suggested that I drive across town. No good. I’ll take that loss! Safe to say that I did not return for more than a year. I gave them another shot recently. Pretty good, back up to four times a week. Today I tried something new, didn’t realize that it was iced. I again asked for a concession. Just a black coffee. No good. Policy is policy… “since I ordered it, they’d have to charge me”. Cool Not very accommodating...

Unique spin on a standard coffee shop. Everything is espresso based and they make batches of unique psuedo-americano drink that they call the Cowboy and you can add extra shots for added strength. I love the concept, I'm not typically an espresso person however this place may change that. The coffee was flavorful and balanced. Pair the wonderful coffee with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff and you have a recipe for a great coffee experience. They also have different loads of flavored sweet breads that you can order toasted with butter, the blueberry bread...

It was our first time there, we have been trying to find Starbucks alternatives. This however won't be the place for us.Terrible service. Really seemed like we weren't wanted there. No greeting, no questions nothing. If you enjoy dry unfriendly service with watered down coffee this is the place! Hopefully they don't treat all of their other minority customers the same; since the other patrons that were in the building received better service but they were not "minorities" if you know...
