Highlight: It was a couple weeks ago.. remember how I mentioned "panhandlers?" Well not all of them are docile and none of them are like not-permitted (fair treatment I suppose) to enter. One morning while in line ordering an old rusty looking man was muttering "N@#$&%ers,"One the whole time I stood in line. He seem harmless so I paid no mind to the guy. As I waited he became more aggressive, again harmless, it isn't like he was swinging around a knife or anything like that; although he did threw a hissy fit, push over a stack of order number plates, flung a cup of liquid over the counter, then left the facility. I wanted to tell the supervisor in charge that day but it doesn't seem like she want to hear anything (which is 100% understandable). But I want to let her know she should be proud of the shift crew that morning. It was the best possible outcome of the whole situation. No cop were called, your customers (a lot of us really, !@#$% could've gone south real quick.) we're safe and calm, floor lady picked up the mess and young man continue taking orders and carried on as if nothing had happened while also clean up the mess. All kept cool and level headed. I'm not trying to tickle y'all's pickles or anything. Y'all really persevere a lot from the negative side of this community, thanks for operating the facility.
The building premises may lack in appearance, littered with panhandlers and trash other than McDonald's. However they are the busiest McDonald's in the neighborhood for good reasons. Times and time again the crew had shown strong consistent quality in their meal deliverance and food service worker's responsibilities. Whether it be the warmest, moist, heavily divine, perfectly delivered chocolate chip cookies I had ever had the pleasure of chewing or the oozing nuggets with the hardest gold shelled crisps. The wait is worth the patience. So sit back, relax and reflect on your treatment of fast food service workers before you dig into your Mcmeals, because of well.. consistentcy, regardless of how you treat them. Because those food descriptions above had happened more than once.. sigh almost make a grown man cry with those cookies I swear.
Side note, early morning of 11th of January 2023 leaving work dealing with personnel events of my own, the crew operating the facility had shown me one quality that made them stand out from other McFoodChains that I didn't realize was their ability to connect with the community to an individual level in some/ my case. Out of respect for privacy and their work profession climate I won't go into details without...
Read moreOn 5/24/2018 myself and two co-workers walked into McDonalds at 3802 Gaston Ave, Dallas TX 75246 at 3:20 pm, we proceeded to put our order in using the customer self-serve order machines, when I completed my order It gave a choice to pay at the machine or at the counter, I chose to pay at the counter. I waited for a few minutes when a cashier by the name of Candy asked "Can I help you" I replied I would like to pay for my order please, she said in a snip tone "I don't see where you order anything! she walks from behind the counter and walked over to the self served machines started opening the bottom where the ticket receipts come out and pulling the paper out slamming the door, her co-worker asked her asked "Are you alright?" I then asked her "Would you like me to re-do my order she ignored me and kept opening and slamming the doors to the self serve machine. Finally after the 3rd time I said " Excuse me do I need to redo my order" she said "I guess so I don' t see one here!" she then walked over to her co-worker whispered something to her they both started laughing. I asked her for her name she balled up her fist by her sides and stated "Let me walk away before it's to late" she then went to the back I could she her speaking with another employee. Candy was the name the manager gave me when I asked what Is the employees name? Why she does not have a name badge on? The manager replied I am 3 weeks new, but I'm going to handle it. The manager looked to be about 20 years of age and she kept laughing the entire time I spoke with her. The entire McDonalds customers and staff where watching how this employee was acting loud, rude and violent with her fist balled up. How does any manager allow an employee to treat their customers the way I was treated. I have a very professional job, I do presentation on great 5 Star customer service. This McDonald's used to be so inviting and clean, now it 's a mess. It's dirty inside, the staff is very young and unprofessional and it has gone downhill fast. I'm surprise if it's still open this time next year. I can almost guarantee nothing going to happen to this employee, that's why she acted the...
Read moreFirst I can't understand the person at the drive-thru and then I thought well I'll get up to the window and can understand them, wrong I guess the worker was more interested in having candy in her mouth, I had to have her repeat what I owed four times because of the candy in her mouth. And then I get up to the window and they hand us our french fries, and ask if we can pull right around to the front and they will bring the 2 strawberry shakes out ,finally 5 minutes go by I'm thinking maybe they're having an issue so I go in and two girls are just standing there another lady I think maybe could be the manager it's just wiping something off, and there's a Hispanic gentleman that I saw that had been taking orders in and out. He ask Can I take your order, and I said yeah I ordered strawberry shakes and paid for them in the Drive-Thru five minutes ago ,they said pull around front and they would bring them to us . So he made them real quick and I asked him did they just not want to make them and he just shook his head yes. I don't play the race card but you know what it was, two white guys in the car me and my friend and that's just sure what it felt like, a total attitude even the manager when she started to say she was busy and then stops because there was one person in their store. If you don't want to work, go collect food stamps or something because your customer service sucks. And as I was leaving the gentleman that was sitting there said I heard the girl say those guys are out front waiting and he said nobody did anything . So yeah two choices either that was racism or complete laziness and I say racism. They are representing your store bad and now look you get a one-star review because of their attitude and their laziness. What a complete joke. I say that was complete racism , and if it wasn't what was it? I mean why would you take an order and then not want to fill that order knowing you can get in trouble? That's just a hundred percent racism. Thank God that Hispanic gentleman was there to work, he looked like the only one...
