Mochio Mochi Donut & Boba Tea — Restaurant in Dallas

Average Monday morning you drag yourself into work, Sherri brought in donuts, grab one cause screw it why not. Three bites in it's too sweet, don't really want more but what ya gonna do, rest of this huge donut is in your hand. End up eating because it's a pain to hold and Sherri's gonna see if you throw away. Deep down you know that wasn't food, it was trash, like a raccoon you scarfed it down just cause it was there. Spend the next hour regretting it all, remember this happened last time too. Doctor says heart attack's coming if you keep this up, hopefully they get a stent in fast enough, or maybe you're asleep and never wake up, at least you wouldn't have to go to work again.

One day you get Mochio. Pretty small, right amount of sweet, nice chewy texture, you can eat the whole thing. Easy to break into pieces and try all the flavors, strawberry, mango coconut, taro, that Asian kinda vibe. Your coworkers like it, boss always comes by to grab one, gives you a raise. Finally buy BMW, cute chick next door starts chatting, she's down for a date Friday night. Looking forward to waking up in mornings now, declined the Zoloft refill, getting into running and lost 50 pounds, cardiologist says don't come back. Who would guess its so easy, self help books in recycling bin, keep getting Mochio, life...

So my boyfriend and I were looking for a mochi donut place on the way back home and we found this! It was inside the Mile High sandwich shop for those of you who might walk around the plaza like we did🤣 so we ordered a dozen mochi donuts and the mile high worker was so nice!! Like he was so nice that my somewhat bad day turned into a good day. Okay so we ended up getting the rest of the donuts and my favorite by far was the strawberry and sprinkles one. The sprinkles was just strawberry with sprinkles, the second best was the chocolate, third was probably banana or smores, and last would be matcha and mango. The matcha is very strong so if you like strong matcha you'll like this flavor! Oh and also pre-order your mochi donuts for more flavors!

I'll be honest here. They do have some fun flavors to explore, however, for the PRICE...and to be honest, the amazing smell and flavor, my regular donut pit stop will remain Max's donuts.... Will I return once in a blue moon for a fun flavor?? Maybe...you do have to make a special order in advance for some of those special flavors FYI.

So, we tried the following:

Glazed -- okay, but not great.... Max's are better

Strawberry -- the glaze was great, this was my favorite of what we tried

Caramel churro - I was disappointed, subtle flavors, didn't find any caramel...

Oreo - it was fairly good, I got this one for my son, his review was not so kind.... Sorry, he's picky...
