ReView Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in Dallas

So my little brother turned 21 this month, and we wanted to bring them somewhere like this! It’s been hard for them to meet people in the community since they’re autistic and we thought this would be perfect to get them out there and have a little fun. We bought three early bird tickets to ReView’s drag brunch event that was scheduled yesterday, advertised on the Instagram. Pulled up early. Lil guy was so excited, they dressed up and brought cologne just to feel their best, and then literally nobody showed ever up. We waited 45 minutes, and nobody ever pulled up or unlocked the door… Tried calling their phone number and got a dial tone. We never saw a singe ReView employee or other guest. Triple and quadruple-checked our tickets, the time, the address on the side of the building, all of that, but everything was correct and we just got completely stood up. I’d think we bought a scam ticket, if the event information wasn’t also on ReView’s social media. We paid a little over 30 per person- no mimosas, no brunch, no drag and no air conditioning. Just us waiting and an ugly car for sale in the parking lot. I have videos but since my little brother is pretty upset in them I would rather not post them for the world. However, anyone who would like to see can contact me for proof. I’m leaving a screenshot for now. I’m usually not so negative with reviews, but I’ve never been more disappointed with a ticket purchase in my life. Like I don’t want to flame this place since it’s a gay bar that I wanna support, but this actually hurt my brother’s feelings, so I felt it was worth leaving our experience here. Eventbrite gave us our money back. I’m sure the bar itself is fine, not sure since we never got in, but don’t expect to be wowed by the service. The girls might not even show up for ya. 0/10 do...
