If you are okay with being auto-gratuity for 25% and sneakily adding another tip line without a word that you've already been charged for flavorless pasta then this might be the place for you. Husband and I stopped in last evening as we were passing down Greenville and spotted them. We used to go regularly to the old building they were in down Greenville next to a creek which has been demolished. The food was the typical Albanian owned Italian and it was tasty. First, the waiter greeted us friendly at the door and we were sat promptly. We did ask to move as my husband wanted to watch the game, we had not ordered anything at that point so shouldn't have been a problem. The owner gave us the stink eye or just a bad case of RBF, who knows. We had a couple of glasses of wine, small glasses but filled to the rim in the 80's style of wine pour, no complaint there. Husband's drafts, again smaller glasses but were equally full and the waiter remained friendly throughout. I had a Gluten Free penne with chopped clams in red sauce. The GF pasta was cooked to perfect al dente, YAY. But, the sauce was watery and flavorless, I packed it to bring home and add some herbs. Husband loved his Quatro Formaggio pizza and it was perfectly crisp on the bottom. It would have been a great place to go back although I would order a different dish, until the check came. Please see the picture and do the math. Gratuity line is 25%. No where on the menu nor the waiter mention that he had auto gratted a table of two, dine in. I also tip between 22-30%, but that's my choice based on service. Not mentioning that you have already gratted someone and adding an additional tip line is akin to theft.

I recently had a work event lunch where we decided to order from Roma, despite my usual reliance on Google reviews. We ordered a substantial 8-10 meals, and it's worth noting that the portions were generous. However, the consensus among most of us was that the food was disappointingly bland. Some of the chicken dishes were a bit tough, and we had to hunt for salt and pepper to add some flavor. To our dismay, none of the requested Parmesan or chili flakes were included with our order. On a brighter note, the garlic bread was a standout and disappeared quickly, with me personally devouring about five pieces. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for my "Tour of Italy" plate; I only managed a few bites before the rest met the trash can. All in all, our experience left us questioning whether we'd give Roma another try. The portions and garlic bread were promising, but the lackluster flavors and missing condiments were hard to overlook.

Yes, this is a photo of half eaten lasagna plate. Customarily it'd be a full plate but life happened and I got hungry. It was so delicious , I thought I'd revel about it for a bit. Each bite was full of flavor,it demonstrated a beautiful medley of spices , meat, and fat . Probably why I fell on it so quickly was it smelled amazing. Side note, use the bread to wipe the sauce when your done, it's like being the first to yell Uno(you're welcome). The servers were on point and shout-out to the kitchen for that speedy plating. Nothing to hear but the voice of your neighbor chatting in the restaurant. Some might like this. I think it's low key enough for a date spot .

My husband and I are new to Dallas and have been looking for a good pizza place. We chose Roma's based off the reviews. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. We ordered pasta, pizza, and dessert.

Positives: We ordered delivery and the turnaround from store to our home was very quick. We ordered quite a bit and we received everything bought. I know that sounds odd for a positive, but so often when we get delivery we are missing items. We also got Rum and Chocolate cake. I would note the presentation and taste was very good. My husband really enjoyed it and I would recommend the dessert. I will note the rolls are very descent as well.

Negatives: The food was overall not good. We ordered out, as we did not feel like cooking but after tasting the food, we could have made better and were disappointed the food was not good for the amount we spent on it. The pizza was very blan, as in not flavorful or have much depth. We also ordered the chicken alfredo. Much to my dismay, I thought it was going to be flavorful, however, we ended up throwing it away as both my husband and I thought it tasted horrible. It tasted like jar Alfredo sauce with the bottle of garlic powder dumped in. Let me just say, it does not look like the pictures.

I try to leave very objective reviews. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place nor will I return. Our total was nearly $90 and full transparency, besides the dessert, we threw nearly all of it away and cooked anyway. This is not the experience we...

0/0 stars. My family and I were fans of this restaurant. The food has been in the past very good and we had become frequent customers. Up until today we have had no issues. However, when my siblings had lunch at Roma’s this afternoon they ran into an issue with their server, Jimmy. He was not attentive for most of the visit, rude when he did interact with them, and also on his phone. Once given the check, because of the lack of professionalism and rude attitude during their visit my sister decided not to tip. When handed the check back the waiter checked to see if there was a tip given (in front of the guest) once he realized she gave none he said it was REQUIRED to give 15-20%. This is completely UNPROFESSIONAL and disgusting. It is up to the customer whether or not to add tip. NOT the servers. The way this server handled the situation was completely inappropriate and out of line. And he shamed her, making her feel forced to leave a tip that he did not earn. Nowhere on the online menu or signs in the restaurant does it say it is required. More importantly, it is NOT Texas State Law to require a tip. Because of this, Roma’s has lost our business forever. Which is unfortunate because we would have continued to be frequent customers otherwise. Now we...
