Saucy's Thai + Pho — Restaurant in Dallas

Yesterday on Nov 1 2017 was the first time I ever step foot into this place. But I never will again. See I was on the clock for a delivery service I can't say which picking up a order for 1 ofr their customers who enjoys their food but know that lunch time is super busy and wait time can be well over an hour and decided to order to go and use our services. When I was greeted by a very rude waitress. Who seemed very pissed off. I don't think they like the company I work for but the anger and frustration was taken out on me. She immediately snapped at me asking who my order was for then telling me to " sit down here and wait". And she left when she came back out I raised my hand to get her attention to which she yelled for me to "wait". When she came over in a most hostile way she asked what I wanted I said I'm here for the order and.... I was cut off by her saying yes I know I already told you to wait. I said yes but I'm Im trying to ask if I can use your restroom. She rolled her eyes and told me no I can go outside. Short time later she says the food is done tosses it on the seat next to me snatches the card out of my hand and when she returns thrust it back into my hands with the receipt and with same horrible attitude says you can leave and storms off even another customer looked on in shock at her behavior. Little did she know I was actually planning on having my own lunch there and paying with my own money I would have been happy to leave a tip. (My company does not allow us to leave tips with their company cards win paying for orders) I believe this is what has them so upset. But I ended up putting their menu back After such treatment. I work for the company I don't own it I don't make the rules I'm just an employee and it is very savage and wrong for you to treat us that way as we could be paying customers and would tip even bring our family's as we understand what it means to live off of tips because so do we. And I so happen to like to give. 20% of my Order or more and that's not a joke. I never go out to eat without leaving nice tips. But thanks to your treatment i will never be back. My boyfriend and I walked in at about 2:45 pm and we're seated politely. Then a waitress walked up and asked what we wanted to drink. Then 2 min later that same waitress came to our table with our drinks and said just so you know we were supposed to close at 3...but you guys are ok...then just stared at us and said "unless you want this to go"..."or do you want to sit outside? " it was so rude. We stayed inside. We didn't know they were closing and we were given a seat. If they would have just said at the door that they were closed then that would have been fine but they gave us a seat and our drinks before making us feel rushed and akward. The waitress then impatiently stood around for us to order. We orded. Then a second employee walked up to us to say hi with a smile and then told us by the way we are trying to close at 3. I just couldn't belive that he would have the nerve to say that to us. Twice. They intentionally made us feel rushed and unwelcome. After waiting a few more minutes for our food we just decided that it was too uncomfortable there and decided to just leave. We never found out whether they have good food or not because of such poor customer service I don't care to find out. If you are closing and wish for no more customers then ask us to leave at the door. Don't stand around and treat us like an inconvenience and expect me to rush my...

Mixed views - While the Thai Green Curry was quite possibly one of the best in Dallas in terms of temperature, flavor, spicy heat, and freshness; however, 2x finding eggshells or chipped ceramic in my entree was very alarming, particularly since I'd already consumed half, then discovered the other piece later!

The Salad Rolls (Vietnamese Spring Rolls) were okay, on the thin side w/o meat option, there were 3 and the peanut sauce paired well with the rolls. They weren't actually as visually appealing as other pics shown.

The service was polite and attentive even with a full restaurant, and the order was correct, so on that basis I tipped in full.

The atmosphere was decorated with prints and glass art. However, there is no vestibule and everytime the door opens it sent a wave of winter chill through the dining room. Seating is limited and there was a wait, yet one 4 top was being used as an unsightly work station, occupied by carry out orders, menus, dinnerware and napkins. I'm also not sure how they can properly monitor and regulate the open bar cart full of alcohol on the way to the restrooms, besides the honor system.

I wanted to love this place, but they seem to be trying to accomplish too much in this small space (I can only imagine the kitchen) and could use a...
