Update:10/26/24 Your reply is not correct. When placing order for a Shug, the only additional option for sauce is other sauce that does allow for Shug sauce, as this is and was the standard sauce that was set up in the Toast ordering platform, and when selecting sauce on the side you are not prompted (required) to select a sauce. Whether this was the intended setting or just an oversight, this is the current setting for the Toast platform that customers do not have control over. Additionally, the Spicy Shug only allows for a cheese selection of Pepper Jack, and Ghost Pepper Jack Cheese and does not allow for American Cheese, so was this the actual intent? Shug, American Cheese and no Shug Sauce or Spicy Shug, Shug Sauce and no American Cheese? May I suggest that you check and reverify prior to any future replies, as pending the type of reply it may not reflect well upon your brand. Again your ordering platform has issues, and as a reminder, I am the guy that had to call your Lemmon ave location and inform y'all that one was not allowed to place a order that included bacon because when applying payment for processing it would state bacon is not currently in stock and would prompt one to restart the order all over (spoke a young female who was able to correct the issue). P.s. I never requested a refund that you recently processed, so I placed a order for the sauce I did not receive and applied the refund amount as a tip (see pic), additionally I will not be picking up that order. I would recommend that y'all learn and understand your customer base as the majority of your customers have a six figure income, and are not seeking a refund, but expect quality, and respect, regardless of there income. Update: 10/24/24 (See pics) Shugs menu offers a Shug, Shug sauce is one of the ingredients of the sandwich, so when you select the option of "sauce on the side" the website does not force you to select a individual sauce like it does on the bagel or even type of egg. So basically someone made a mistake by not providing sauce on the side, I made a comment in what was still a positive review, and someone thought they would cease upon the opportunity to disrespect me, by belittling me for saying something about the mistake. Update: Wow that's the way to go blame the customer, I ordered the Shug, and if there was any question why didn't the guy (tall skinny spanish guy who clearly was not in a good mood when he shoved my order to me through the window, really friendly guy) ask, and what about all my contact info that was on the bag itself, ya blaming the customer will work, one Star it is! Yall have multiple flaws with your platform when one attempts to place an order (it kept kickingmy order out saying Bacon was out of stock), but I'm sure yall can see my account where I was ordering 3 & 4 times a week, I apologize for the inconvenience and will do my best to no longer be an inconvenience, this will be my loss and just think all I wanted was the sauce on the side with what I consider a great sandwich. Below was my 5 Star review that has now changed to a 2 Star review because every time I select "sauce on the side" I get no sauce at all. (If you've never tried Shugs before, then no worries because you don't know what your missing.)

I've been ordering from Shugs on Lemmon Ave for about a year now. This morning, I got my shug, I noticed a different taste on the first bite, after taking a closer look I noticed the egg was nicely folded over and as I looked closer it looked like something you would get from McDs, so I called and asked if they are no longer using real eggs and began to explain my experience, (I believe the guys name was Ryan or Reece, or something similar) he played dumb and said no that our eggs are always folded, I replied I've been ordering from yall for the past year and I have never noticed a rubbery tasting folded egg, he replied he has been there during this time period and nothing has changed that they always fold their fried eggs, and that was the end of the conversation, 30 minutes later a coworker of mine comes in with her shug and I said something and she replied immediately that something is off, as we looked we noticed she had a folded egg, so I checked online and notice they have an option for a fried egg in place of the standard scrambled egg option, then I check my ticket where it shows "Scrambled Eggs," my coworkers said scrambled eggs also. Bottom line is I spent almost $13.26 plus a $1.00 tip $14.26 total for breakfast sandwich, and noticed something was off about it and said something, where this employee (that I tipped) treated me like I was stupid, so going forward I wonder how stupid he thinks that I am knowing that I can and will get a breakfast sandwich somewhere else? I'm willing to bet that the odds are in my favor that if they make a mistake that they won't try and make me feel like I'm at fault.

Pricey but premium! Shugs bagels were really good (the bread is amazing) and you can tell a lot of thought went into this menu. Their cream cheese is good but not out of this world. We ordered a Gravlax (they have three different flavors of lox and this one was dill, lemon, beet cured salmon) on an onion bagel with all the classic toppings (tomatoes, onions, capers). See photo of menu for prices. Second bagel we ordered was the Egg Sandwich (scrambled eggs, bacon, American cheese, hash brown) on an everything bagel. Last bagel was a whole wheat bagel with vanilla walnut cream cheese. We then got to black coffees as they have a creamer bar (oat, almond and whole milk available). Bread on its own 5/5 (Me) Gravlax 5/5 (Bf) Egg sandwich 4/5 (Bf) Wheat w/ vanilla walnut 4/5 We really liked that there lox had different flavor options and that the egg sandwich was really packed. We have already returned to Shugs because we liked it so much. Like I said at the top it’s pricey but you get what you pay for and everything is really good. They also have online ordering options (the drive thru is only for pick up orders). Lots of outdoor seating with limited indoor seating. They are SUPER busy so expect to wait a little. This is part of my Bagels of Dallas series.

Okay I gave you five stars but honestly I'm going to put one and a half more 🌟 comment 6 🌟 1/5 I think that's how you do a half right I know it won't affect the actual rating but this place is awesome. You could have even got a seven star and I can tell you how y'all can do that all your sandwiches in the breakfast menu had cream cheese you can keep the other cheese too if that cheese is good but cream cheese is what take it to the next level. However all the positives outweigh the negative of no cream cheese on all your bagel breakfast sandwiches. Your hands down the best bagel I've ever had. One thing that could have got y'all to Seven Stars even would have been if you're kind of fixed the bathroom situation it's very confusing. I honestly thought I locked the door because I put in the code and I turned the lock but apparently I turned to lock the wrong direction. Still besides that I can't think of any reason y'all don't deserve even some extra Stars cuz your food is amazing. Of course the lady was kind of rude but she didn't work there so that's not yours fault. I mean I yelled at her that I'm in here it's not like she couldn't hear me even if she said I should have locked the door. So I've kind of ignored her but that's not y'all's fault I still think y'all guys are the greatest Bagel in town if...
