I lived in this area for 6 years, and this is my go smoothie king. I love smoothie king, but this location is a hit or miss. Meaning it depends on who is at the drive thur. There are 3 ppl that work there currently that I always love to see. 1st is an older, light skin, African American lady who is always kind, patient, and makes the drinks to perfection. 2nd is a young, brown tones, African American lady that is extremely pleasant and always offers me options, plus she makes great smoothies too. Lastly is a young man. The young man needs to be a little more friendly, but since his smoothies are on point, I overlook his rude demeanor. Everyone else at this location is very rude always. They rush you at the window, constantly ask "anything else" over and over after everything you say. Never offering you to upside or anything extra. Just hurry up so you can leave. Just last week, when I went, I was overcharged for my smoothie since I ordered the same thing I knew right away. The price was wrong. I told the young lady at the window, and she said, "Oh yeah, I charged it wrong." No apology or nothing. I really hate that they do have a good attitude at this location because it is a very popular location, and I believe business would be even better if the employees were kind to the customer. Maybe the owner will consider some customer service training for everyone or something because you should feel disrespected just to get a smoothie. I am writing in reference to the Smoothie King at 3233 Wheatland Rd. Dallas, TX 75237. The posted hours are 7 am-10pm. However at 7:20 am they were not open. I dropped my child at school came back and to my surprise at 7:50am THEY WERE NOT OPEN! No signs were posted on the windows. No cars in the parking lot and the building was black. There was power at the location, so I’m sure it wasn’t a power issue. I frequent this location quite often, at least 2-3 times a week on my way to work. Some days are easy, I’m in and out. Other days Fridays(understandably slower) and Saturdays, I have been stuck in line in the drive thru for an excess of 30mins(HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE). I also frequent the Richardson location and have NEVER had any of these issues, even on a Friday when the line is ridiculously long…but the service is still prompt and efficient. The store is always open when the signs say they should be open. I mention this location just to compare the service that is given outside of the southern sector. Had I traveled to the Richardson location this morning, I am sure I would have received a smoothie. It would have also been fast and pleasant. The time is now 9:00am, and to my surprise…you guessed it THEY ARE STILL NOT OPEN! I look forward to your response to this unacceptable situation.

Read moreThe so call general manger is extremely rude. I frequent this location and other team and staff have been professional and accommodating. Lady in blue shirt has the NASTIEST attitude.
Asked for a refund. I was told no. Online orders can’t get immediate refunds. Call customer support and was told that all refunds come from the store.
Customer Service is a lost skill.
This is an update to the above as of May 28,2024 This location has not refunded my money. Although is under $20.00 it’s the principal. The customer service hotline has responded to my emails - stating that they are awaiting the store manager or management to provide the refund.
I went to another smoothie king to voice my concern. I was told that this store - is not only a corporate store, this store had excess amounts of complaints. store I was visiting with shared that there is ALWAYS problems at the Wheatland location where I shared the photos above.
Customer Service is an oversees call center. There is a communication barrier so calling them is as frustrating as trying to communicate with the manager and employee that lack the training that needs to be available when dealing with a consumer.
