We paid 33.00 for 2 and 1/2 gristle pieces of beef ribs and some smoked turkey ends. No sides. I needed somebody to call and make this right photo and the photos were taken before we ate or try to eat it. No we could not take it back please fix this. Now my husband and I bring this mess home to eat and it is not edible the dry grizzled beef is so hot from the overabundance of cracked black pepper to where it couldn't be eaten. I am hungry I've waited to eat and I've waited in vain. I want this fixed I want reparations for this mess that's call barbecue. With no smoked flavor this is Texas all this wood pecan wood hickory wood mesquite wood and no flavor no smoke . I am out of 30 something dollars for what a few pieces of Turkey and it wasn't smoked either. The only thing that was good worth mentioning that I'm not complaining about is the cotton-picking bread. I need someone to get with me please thank you. Oh yeah and I gave one star because the bread was the only edible thing. It was about 5:30 5:40 when we purchase this mess so maybe it was what they serve when it gets past a certain time because most people would notice. I don't know but I feel Hoodwinked Bamboozled led astray and gone amuck... just downright disrespected. I don't know if it's just me, but no one has come to me has called has emailed me has done nothing but what they're doing and is ignoring me. What's the prices you guys charge I'm pretty sure that the little 33 dollars that we spent won't make you rich but you don't know what we have to go through to get that 33.00. You should honor the people that are keeping you in business.

TL;DR: Came here not expecting to de-throne our reigning best Dallas BBQ King, but left witnessing a ruler atop the throne! Impressive was the first word to come to mind when we walked through the doors of this establishment. First off we noticed the plethora of high-chairs ready to assist families in their feeding expedition. The next thing we noticed was the smell of delicious BBQ. We quickly found our way in line and with plenty of menu options to pick from we each selected our course. I ordered a 2-meat plate with brisket and smoked turkey as the primary alongside potato salad and mac & cheese for the sides. The brisket was practically falling apart in the butchers hands, I was doubtful that he even needed a knife to cut it. No one in our party had a problem finishing all of their food as each bite left the consumer wanting more. Portion size did seem to favor the restaurant more than what we would have liked, but everyone left feeling full. A quirky highlight of the establishment is their waiter that makes rounds to all the tables advertising fresh hot rolls, which we could watch being made throughout our experience. Overall we weren't planning on de-throning our previous favorite Dallas BBQ spot, but the food experience we had here left us with no other choice!

Chain BBQ restaurants generally get a bad rap with BBQ fans but Spring Creek does a really good job on their ribs. I think they do better on their ribs than the long line bbq joints who are mostly specializing in the brisket. Spring Creek ribs have a good flavor that is more than just salt and pepper but also nothing overly sweet. They smoke their ribs and then give them a quick finish on the grill imparting a unique flavor you don't get at most other places. They don't fall off the bone but they come off the bone cleanly with a little pull and that is what I look for in a rib. They have a great weekday lunch special where you can get the ribs (or any other meat) and two sides for 9.99. You can't beat that for the amount of ribs you get as well as the quality of ribs. Their service is always friendly and they have someone roaming the floor with fresh bread roll refills.

✌️If you are passing through or, if you are a born and bred Texan like me, I don't know how you can say no to a Real Baked Potato, instead of the steamed ones that you get at other places. It also appears that sometimes there is actually real Fresh Fried Okra not the frozen kind ... The Banana Pudding, Peach Cobbler and Blue Bell Ice Cream...come on for goodness sake.! I think that these items might be considered a sin because it's so good ...they won't release me until I buy a bit. The only time it may be frustrating is as always and, with all places who serve the public ...maybe there is a new trainee? Maybe a delivery didn't come in time... We don't know what's going on behind the scenes... we just see and smell that beautiful food which fills our nose with the promise that soon we will be satisfied... and we can be selfish in that moment of our senses being overwhelmed with "Hangry".... sometimes being rude to the very people who are trying to serve us is self-defeating...does your food get delivered any faster when you're not seeing the bigger picture? How about that long line of people behind you? My fellow Texans, Being rude or upset over a mistake? Perhaps take a breath because, there's a lot worse things than " where the heck is my Sweet Tea and sour cream for my baked potato?"... Spring Creek Barbecue is one of the best sit down BBQ restaurants in North Texas. If you really want to know 4 sure JUST DRIVE BY with your car windows down. And this action will lead you to the parking lot experience...GO TO THE PARKING LOT AND OPEN YOUR CAR WINDOW! The smell of some of the Best BBQ in North Texas !!

For Old Coggers like me a special note= Perhaps if us usual customers were more patient with the young people learning their job... they may becone more happy in their job and therefore be more dutiful in their job... Meaningless confusion at the cash register...When people sense that you are giving them the time needed to better help you something very special happens. I like to call it Mutual Respect and Kindness. After all, we are just passing through this experience called life. So maybe let's older people be a bit more patient with the Young Learners and don't take our hard complicated day out on them.

Let's don't disappoint the younger people anymore... they need to believe in the wise ones with experience...Young people are surrounded continually with blasting loud misguidance...they are the new commodity that the whole world aims to captivate and monetize their youth. Let's encourage them, bring joy, bring the power of our experience as a perceivable quality to emulate...because the way the world's going they might be the one taking care of us... Or not... think about the bigger picture... They're going to remember how we treated them. Let's just be good little Christians, Muslims, Shinto,... All these religions with different names saying the same thing... Be kind to yourself, Your highest self.. And you will be kind to others. I love you, yes I do... as your eyes slide across my words I am projecting prosperity into your...

I SHALL RETURN!

I hadn't been to Spring Creek since about 2011 or so. I've had a weight loss surgery so the whole "all you can eat sides" thing is no longer a factor for me. However, I was working in the close vicinity, and thought it would be good to get a "to go" box, to try it again. I must admit, I didn't remember it being so good, and I forgot how awesome their service is. This was during the day on a Monday early to mid afternoon. I don't know the managers name, but he made me feel like he was offering me whatever I wanted to eat from his own kitchen. Like it was his home. It made me feel warm and welcome, like I belonged there. Wow... actually getting a little lump in my throat thinking about it. It'a just so hard to find a staff that cares these days. I'm glad to say I re-discovered that Spring Creek does. To the Mondsy daytime Mgr and crew... THANK YOU! To continue, I got the brisket plate. Now, this was another thing I had NEVER been asked when ordering barbeque before... "Do you like it lean or more marbled?" Since I had never been offered this, I looked at him inquistively, I'm assuming he gets that a lot, as he went right into explaining the difference that lean would be more firm and nasty with little fat and marbled would be softer and contain more fat. I'm used to "you get what you get, and you don't throw a fit" type attitude when it comes to barbecue. So, this was excitingly new. I said marbled of course, very marbled. Also offered regular or sweet sauce.. I said both, of course. Now I did have to wait about 3 to 5 minutes after competing my order at the line. However, I forgot that I should ordered ahead. So, the wait is my bad really. Got my order, darted back to work and did the unveiling. Looked and smelled magnificent. Then a customer rolls in the door and I have to go show them storage units and sign them up on a lease and take somebody else's payment then a phone call. Anyway, finally got back to a mildly warm to cold opened up meal, which I had only had one bite of beans from. Starving, I dig in without re-heating and it had to have been one of the best barbeques brisket plates I've had in years. Yes, even cold! It was perfectly done, pull apart, juicy, tender, marbled brisket. And both sauces were perfect. The beans amazing. The only one thing I remember I don't lime there, which In was reminded of is their potato salad. I enjoy sweet relish or sweet pickles in the mustard potato salad. They do more of a mayo potato salad with a little bit of dill pickle in it. Not my favorite but some people like it. Their bread, awesome... even cold. So, ya... the next time I'm working my S. Hampton Storage 365 location or even passing by there on the highway... I SHALL RETURN, for your great friendly service and spectacular barbeque. Y'all are AWESOMESAUCE!!! Keep it...

👎🏻 🚫 🛑 I went to the location off of 20 and Wheatland Road and I went on Father's Day without my knowledge I completely forgot I got there at around 2:30 p.m. and I know it was Father's Day and there were lots of people there but all I ordered was two of the loaded Bakers potatoes and two orders of cobbler well an hour had already passed I only asked after about 30 minutes that was understandable okay another 30 minutes well that's an hour but I couldn't even get nobody to respond to me needless to say I waited and hung in there as long as I could after placing my order it was almost 1 hours and 40 minutes later the lady comes out and said what was your order I proceeded to tell her and she said oh it'll be another 30 minutes we're out of baked potato are you 🤬 me! and when I try to explain to her actually that I'd been there for a long time why didn't anybody tell me that and make me wait another 30 minutes I told her I wanted my money back and I spoke to another lady I don't who told me that when I if I came back up there even though they gave me a refund that they would replace my meal, So I took her up on that off for the next day I found out that the lady that I had talked to in the first place was actually a manager named 👉🏻 ACACIA so I go up there excited to get my order replaced even though you know I was upset I go up there to pick it up and that same lady the manager 👉🏻 ACACIA is there and tells me oh I already gave you a refund I'm not going to replace your meal 🤬 I was livid and highly upset that they wasted my time yet a second time‼️ But I want to say thanks to ➡️ LEILANI #1 🏆 who was very cheerful and helpful and understanding. Thank you for for doing that for me that day you should be a manager young lady. And that's how you treat somebody I work in fast food myself and my customers are number one and I'll do anything to make sure that they have the best experience no matter what mood I'm in especially if they waited almost 3 hours in total for their food and then I promise them food they come back and then I deny them again you need some new...
