I stumbled upon this place on my Facebook feed and decided to look into this place some more since it was a new restaurant that is near my home and I do love a nice sushi buffet. After reading some reviews by other people, I was convinced I had to try this place, and I was definitely not let down.
I went on a Friday for lunch which was about $19 per person. Dinner obviously cost more and you get more selection, but for lunch I was impressed with what I could order. This is a sit down and order style of buffet so you’ll need to keep that in mind when ordering. I find it best to order some first, then order some more when your food comes out to have it in queue. It was busy when I went so there is naturally a wait to get your food.
The appetizers come out in smaller portions than if you order off the regular menu which I find to be very nice. I feel this way I can try more items. I tried the crab Rangoon which was puffy and not too filling with a light tasting cream cheese inside. The jalapeño bombs were good but not great. The spicy tuna tartar, aburi salmon, and pepper tuna tataki were fantastic. I would definitely recommend these items.
The sushi pieces you can order by the piece and these were all fresh tasting and not overloaded with rice. The fish is cut in a narrow slice which I found to be the perfect ratio of fish to rice. The spicy tuna hand roll was also packed with fish and not overloaded with rice.
The special rolls that I tried were all great. A lot of the fried rolls have cream cheese except for the Golden Tokyo roll, so if you’re not a fan of cream cheese, these may not be for you. The fresh rolls tasted great, especially the Amy roll. That roll tasted fresh and light.
Along with the sushi there is the option of fried rice, hibachi, soups and plenty of other appetizers that I didn’t get around to because I was too full.
I did not check out the entire restaurant or the restroom area as I was too busy eating. The restaurant was a bit cold so even though it may be hot outside, you may want to bring a jacket in case you get cold easily.
The staff was friendly and apologized multiple times for the wait, but seeing how busy it was I did not mind and expected a wait. I would definitely recommend trying this place because for less than $20 for a sushi buffet, this place is wonderful. I honestly cannot see them keeping the price at $20 for long as what my daughter and I ate, it would easily cost more than...

1st Time Dining Advice, Environment, Service, & Food Quality.
1st Time Dining Advice:
Start small, they charge you $0.50-$1 per uneaten piece at the end of the meal. You do have the option of taking it home. But whether you take it or not, you're still charged. This is because they want to avoid food waste amongst other very valid reasons.
I suggest 3-maybe 4 items per person to start. 2 appetizers, a full roll and maybe a 4 pc specialty or Sashimi.
Environment:
Very calming and simple, not distracting at all. The Bar is located fairly center in the restaurant allowing easy access for the waiters to get your beverage in an expedited manner.
The Chefs have an open area at the back of the restaurant. You can see the fresh fish and ingredients as they work. From a distance it worked like a fine tuned machine, working to get your food out efficiently. Things are served as they are prepared ensuring freshness.
Service:
Was amazing, there are no other words. The layout of the restaurant allows servers to work and move efficiently, they are all very attentive which means everything comes to you quickly. They always ask if you have ever visited before, and if not they then thoroughly review their rules (See 1st Time Dining Advice).
Food Quality:
This truly is one of the better Sushi restaurants in North Dallas as far as quality goes. I Love seafood, raw & cooked sushi, sashimi, etc. Being landlocked one can definitely tell fresh from not. These guys make sure to serve high quality fresh fish.
Personally I had the Kiss of Yellow Tail, which has fresh Tuna, Salmon and Yellow Tail. definitely the best Yellow Tail I've ever had.
Highly suggested whether you live in the area or just visiting. Gorgeous atmosphere, attentive and kind staff, and of course great quality. Thankfully, we live close by, and this is now our...

I want to share my honest experience. I recently tried another AYCE sushi spot that absolutely amazed me, so I had high expectations for this one, especially since the photos online looked great.
Starting with the positives, the sashimi is excellent. (We got the dinner menu). Both the premium sashimi options and those from the standard menu were fresh and flavorful. However, the rolls were a big letdown. They were oversized, which is a drawback because you fill up quickly and can’t enjoy a variety of dishes. Some rolls even come with 10 pieces, making it impossible to sample multiple items, which is usually the appeal of AYCE sushi. Even my husband, who has a big appetite, struggled after ordering just two rolls.
The nigiri was decent, especially considering the price point, but not particularly memorable.
On the bright side, the service was fantastic. Our waiter was incredibly kind, attentive, and quick, which really improved the experience. The ambiance is also pleasant and comfortable, making it a nice place to dine.
If they could improve their rolls—smaller portions and better balance—I think it would make the experience much more worthwhile. For now, it’s a mix of great service and ambiance with some hit-or-miss food. And I honestly...
