I did not feel like cooking today, but wanted something on the healthier side & this turned out to be the perfect choice for me today! I’m full but no stomachache (so glad I didn’t go for something greasy like Panda Express & explorer a new option bc I have found a gem! Truly, their food is spot on 👌 simple, fresh, well-seasoned Thai Food ~ DELICIOUS!!! I tried the: (spent about $32.00) ~ Lao Fried Rice ~ with chicken (their chicken is thinly sliced & juicy (chef’s kiss 🤌🤌) ~ Tom Yum Lemongrass soup (also w chicken) it will cute what ails you ~ seriously ~ Crispy Veggie Rolls (4) not greasy, perfectly cooked I highly recommend all of these dishes, obviously. I maybe would’ve chosen level 3 on spice for the Lao Fried Rice 🍚 I also have to give them a shout out for going the extra mile with their to-go containers & packaging - nothing leaked even tho I hit my brakes and the bag flipped over. I was so grateful they’d packaged everything so well. After reading some of the reviews I’m going to try the Thai coffee the next time I order ~ looks good!

Oh man!! I think I’ve found my go to Thai place in the DFdubs. This small little place in Addison just made my dinner absolutely satisfying. My friends and I ordered quite a few things and we loved every single item that we got. We ordered nam khao, panang curry, pad thai, and khao piek. Nam khao (4/5) i loveeed the flavor but I wish it was just a little bit crispier. Khao piek (5/5) loved the noodles. They seemed homemade because they were all different sizes. The flavor was amazing and it hit the spot in this weather. Panang curry (4/5) the curry was good and yummy but just a bit watery. I like my curry a little bit thicker Pad Thai (5/5) really good!! Perfect flavor and consistency. Not too saucy but also not too dry Teja was our cashier and he was serving everyone. The whole place was packed, there were a bunch of Togo orders and behind us was a bunch of people too! Regardless of that he managed the restaurant extremely well. We thought we were gonna get our food really slow but it came out at a perfect time. AMAZING!!

Went there on my lunch for there Lao was very displeased spent $14 as some change on some beef fried rice and there’s sauce to Lomb-behold I waited on my order 15 minutes from my rice I get my rice getting to my car to check my order there’s no beef I also asked for no tomato… I take it back in the guy that works at the register says the manager is not there his name is Matt he was nowhere to be found and it is very busy and they only had two cooks I could not speak no English I’m not sure what establishment this is but this is not great customer service I spent $15 and left with absolutely nothing they told me I could come back later to get my order. I let them know that I didn’t have time to wait another 15-20 minutes for my rice to be redone because I had already wasted almost 20 minutes on my lunch hour. I’m almost thinking about not returning and just dispute the transaction on my card.!!!

OK so update at once a while 7 o’clock Matt is still nowhere to be found he’s the manager the guy at the The guy at the register called him and he said just take her number down and I will call her back and he asked him can you talk to her he said no take her number down and I will call her and give her a cup remind you they never replace my order from earlier and they still haven’t tried to replace my order they are so busy there’s only three workers this place is a mess and then they try to ban you from coming back on speak your mind!!!

I was really looking forward to trying this place out as I am Lao and because of its positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed and won’t be coming back.

My family and I showed up on Saturday 8/5, around noon. First red flag: NO STICKY RICE. I thought it was a prank, but the gentleman taking our order wasn’t joking and said they did not have any prepared. We settled for Jasmine rice, which by the way looked and tasted more like Uncle Ben’s rice.

The Larb Gai had no seasoning. Even my husband, who is American and loves Lao food, looked at the Larb and noticed it didn’t look right. It was really pale and lacked flavor. There was no toasted rice powder or fish sauce. The meatball portion was small (they were quartered), and they were over-fried. The egg rolls were not at all Lao style. They reminded me of egg rolls from Sarku in the mall. The only good thing from the entire meal was the Lao sausage, and that was most likely outsourced. I’d be surprised if it was made in-house.

In the midst of our lunch, the owners or managers showed up appearing irate. They barged in and immediately started checking and rummaging with items. Didn’t acknowledge or say a single word to their employee, then sat down at a table in the dining area with patrons present. The observation and experience was a bit awkward to say the least.

It’s a shame because I see that they have multiple locations, so they must be doing something right. Either they were having a bad day and were ill-prepared, or whoever was cooking in the kitchen at that time was not up to par. I can’t speak on the Thai food since we didn’t try that, but based on the Lao food alone, it’s...

I won't be back. We just discovered this spot a few months ago, but we've been coming pretty regularly (usually 2-3 times a week). Today we placed an order, got home and opened the sealed bag only to discover they had prepared part of our order wrong. We checked that the receipt on on the bag was correct and called the restaurant. When my wife explained what happened, she was told that the order was correct it was just labelled wrong. My wife ordered pad Thai lvl 2 like always, but received an order labeled "4". The lady on the line explained that if the receipt says "2" then they made her a "2", and must have mistakenly labeled it a "4". When my wife explained that she's ordered this dish multiple times and it's NEVER been this hot. It's was inedible. She was then told that the food was made correctly and only labeled wrong. I understand that sometimes people order food and have a problem after the fact, but this was actually LABELED WRONG! If YOU label something "SUPER HOT" and your customer tells you it tastes "SUPER HOT", and they only ordered "kinda hot", even IF you made it right, own it and correct your mistake. The mistake was theirs, whether it was made or labeled wrong, but they instead, made it seem as if we were making things up. I know they could care less. We're "just another customer" to them, but businesses should be more accountable to their customers....
