Disappointed:( I mean, maybe people here are all new and I understand, but this was just too bad. We ordered one tomnppucino, one americano, and a cinnamon bread. After waiting 20 minutes, I went to ask about our order, and it seemed like they were making it and forgot about it. Like, my drinks were just there sitting. (Or maybe in the middle of making them, but like, 20 mins after? As shown on picture, there weren’t a lot of people..) Overall, took 30 mins to get them. I mean, even though you are new.. it shouldn’t take this long especially when the place was not super busy.. right? And it’s just.. drinks. They overcharged the americano. On the menu it said $3.65 but it was $4.15 on the receipt. Um. Why? Taste.. so.. bland… americano tasted like a water with mild coffee scent. Took a few sips and threw it away. Green tea tomnppucino tasted like you freeze a little sugary light green tea and blend it. Wasn’t too bad but also didn’t really have a flavor much I would say.. and the bread. It was actually very crunchy outside and soft inside perfectly which I loved but.. it had such a mild cinnamon and caramel flavor.. only thing that tasted “sugary” was the whipped cream on top of it.. what is going on here.. everything doesn’t taste enough lol Oh I’ve been to Carrollton location numerous times since they first opened and love them so I know how it should taste.
Overall, I would say it was just ugh. The place was looking kinda cute and nicer than Carrollton location so I guess I was expecting too much. I give 3 stars because the workers there did say sorry that my order took forever… anyway, Adding my receipt and menu to show the americano price...
Read moreI first heard about the Tom n Toms location in Dallas about a year ago and was excited about the location they chose! This coffee shop has a lot of room for seating... whether: in booths lined-up from the entrance to the back of the shop, very nice long wooden tabletop tables for larger seating, counter-top seating along the windows to a patio-deck decked out with seating arrangements! I started coming in this February and also March now and love the chocolate briolles! I think I've kept it simple with my orders: americano coffee black, desserts: cheesecake, parfaits, pastries and bagels... My fourth grader says the brownies are his favorite :) The reason for this review is the staff... The customer service from the baristas here caught my attention from the very first time coming in until now, they really made me feel taken care of. Beginning with the morning crew to the evening crew: so professional, kind-hearted (courteous), upbeat, lovely and hardworking. Great team here! I give Tom n Toms a comfortable, welcoming, delicious and spacious...

Just take responsiblity, you are the owner and this is how business works. BAD SERVICE=BAD REVIEWS! The time frame from receipt to opening the cup was 15 minutes. I guess it's shrinkflation! When you order a to-go large cup, but get a medium coffee fill. STOP BEING LAZY and screwing customers, IT'S A COFFEE, it's OK you are still making a profit off using some more milk!
