Waffle House — Restaurant in Dallas

I CANNOT BELIEVE I GOT JACKED BY A WAFFLE HOUSE WAITRESS. She Is around 5 ft 4, really yellow black girl. I had just finished eating and got up to leave. Apparently my phone fell out of my pocket on to the bench when I got up. I was on my way home and realized I didn't have my phone. I called it about u 5 times by the time I made it back. I walked in and asked employees and customers about the phone but no one claimed to have seen it. I searched my car again and again to male sure i didnt have it but came up empty. I went to search near the table again but nothing. At this this point, I'm pissed. I return to the car and sat there. I noticed the aforementioned waitress walking throughout parking lot smoking a ciggarette. I asked her if she had seen a phone anywhere and she just shook her head and walked around a near by corner to an adjacent parking lot. I asked my gf to let me use her phone to search for my phone. And it pin pointed it's location. We drove to the spot and there it was. My phone was laying in the parking lot, in the rain, in the same path the waitress walked. This review is long overdue and I debated whether or not I wanted to post, but this location is probably the worst that I've ever been to.

I was unaware that Waffle House (assuming this location) stopped taking orders over the phone, which is fine. Placed my order online. Double and triple checked that we made all of our modifications clear before confirming the order.

We get there to pick up the order and it wasn't ready yet. Cool. We live about five minutes up the road, so it was fair that things weren't ready and we had to wait. But once we were given our order, several items were missing. As far as I know, All-Star specials come with a waffle, your choice of meat, eggs, toast, hashbrowns, etc. We had two All-Stars and both waffles (that were clearly stated on our order) were missing, the toast was missing from one meal and the meat from each meal was swapped/mismatched. We had to return to the pickup window TWO, maybe even THREE times before this order was completely corrected. All while the girls inside snickered and played around as if it was a game.

I probably won't be returning here because on top of the terrible service, the cook and servers had the nerve to have attitudes about correcting mistakes that THEY made. 100%...

7/28/23-i lied, we came back. Online order was supposed to be ready at 10:25 pm, we received the order at 10:47 pm. I guess at least they are being consistent.

2/5/23-this will be the last time I go to this location. I ordered food online, and arrived 5 minutes after the pick-up time but still had to wait 15-20 minutes more to get my food. They had five workers, and it was not that busy. Supposedly, they were waiting for my waffles. By the time that my waffles came out, the rest of my food was cold. Once everything was "ready," they were still missing my chocolate milk. And to top it off, their customer service needs improvement. Just a heads up, they have a to-go supply fee ($2.35) and a to-go service fee ($2.35).

12/21/19-they are "temporarily" not taking to go orders. Customer service from the person that provided my order needs improvement.

04/22/18-called 826 am and 829 am, no answer.

02/05/18-called three times around 830 am, and they didn't answer their phone.

12/10/17-They rarely answer their phone.

10/29/17-Customer service was below average. Food was nice and fresh though.

06/25/17-Slow service considering it wasn't busy.
