To Those that this Concerns: We stayed at Fairfield 5/23 to 5/25. We were there to help our son move in to his new apartment, but, we hit a snag. His old landlord would not give the current information to his new landlord and because of this, our son became homeless. Our son is a Youth Pastor. His boss said that he could stay at the church. We decided to get our son a room at the Fairfield until he could move in to his new apartment. This hotel has the friendliest staff members. I want to praise them for going above and beyond for us. They didn't have to be kind, but, they were. I went to the manager and tried to explain what was going on and he was such a kind man. His name is Christopher Anderson. If anyone should be recognized at this hotel, it should be this man. There is also another man and his name is Miles. He was a very funny and polite person. We needed water. It was hot having to run around and we were thirsty. He just offered it to us out of kindness. Can you imagine people just being kind for no reasons except to be kind? We spent the weekend trying to get things arranged for our son. Everything we had to do was exhausting but we also enjoyed just being with our son. God showed up and everything just started to fall into place. So, if anyone needs to stay at a really nice hotel, this is the place to stay. I highly recommend it. And, I watched them. The staff and the manager was "kind" to everyone. Every person that came through those doors was greeted with such "kindness." Even my husband commented how nice of a hotel Fairfield is. In the future, we will always be staying at this hotel. Please, if there are higher up CEO's in the company, please, recognize your employees. Sincerely, Pamela Littrell,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI arrived, the manager asked for my name and information. Once I gave her my information, I was subsequently told they were full the night before and rooms were not ready due to needing to be cleaned, which was understandable. She told me to come back or call in about an hour which I found to be odd, because usually staff will say please wait while we find a room or do their best to accommodate their customers in some way. I also found it odd that she took my information (if you knew no rooms were available, why complete the check in process if you werenāt going to try to accommodate me), there was no offer to hold luggage until a room became available and that she charged my card minutes after I was told to come back. I was literally in the parking lot when I received an alert my card had been charged. I called to ask why my card was charged if I hadnāt been given a room and was told āwe do an advanced charge.ā That was a lie because I had booked the hotel the day before and hadnāt been charged. She charged me when she thought I would be going to another hotel because there were no rooms available after having traveled as far as I had. I told her I found her response to be incredibly disingenuous and in poor taste and she hung up in my face when I told her that. It appears that is the response this establishment gives rather than giving a professional response to valid inquiries. I certainly cannot recommend this place off of principle alone and would never stay anywhere I feel disrespected or looked down upon. I understand businesses need to be ran, but thereās a proper way to do so and they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBad Service/Employees!!!!!! I just had a tragedy in my family and walked in here to get some rest. This just happened. I noticed the attendant woman at the front counter was on the phone before I even arrived. As I began to listen, I realized she was on a personal phone call at work while standing at the counter. She was mentioning to whomever she was talking to about her son needing to go the dentist. I was patient at first. However, I waited probably 7 minutes while she was directly in front of me still on her call. She never said hold on, or fetched another employee to assist me. I finally walked out in disbelief. I did notify a manager their name Chris. Although he was nice, he also didnāt try to fix it. I guess the manager and the employee must not need their jobs. He didnāt resolve it as the manager, so it makes sense that the poor employee behaves that way. This is the 3960 RL Thornton location. I called the Hamptons across the street, told them what this hotel did , and was accommodated immediately. If you want your hotel to stay open, this employee needs a very harsh coaching Never will ever go to another Fairfield and will share my story. And on a day when tragedy came into my life. I rarely write reviews, but this was needed. Had the manager attempted to fix the situation, I would not have written...
