Edit for the business' response
The response:
It was not condescending, I literally said it in my pleasant voice with a slight giggle showing I thought it's likely back up, but I'm calling because I don't want to wait again. I think you immediately think the worst of people, and that's a sad life to live. I wonder how many people must deal with that, and I feel bad for them. I can put this on my mother's, sister's, uncle's, best friend's and boyfriend's ashes/graves that this is the truth. You genuinely interpreted the tone incorrectly. A word of advice: take a beat, think, "do they really mean bad intent?" And I bet your life will be way better for it.
This was a 2 ⭐ review, but I just knocked it down to a 1 ⭐
The review:
Initially the internet was down, so I waited for 4 hours hoping it would come up. Not their fault, but annoying. The lady at the desk was lovely, and I really enjoyed speaking with her. 10 out of 10, I hope she gets paid a living wage and is treated right there (I wonder tho, if this is how customers are treated). This is not the reason for the review. Her name is Maya (I think that's her name, is lovely, and this isn't about her)
I had to have my job create a new passport to go get the test done again, because it never came back up and no one called to say it was back up (they said they'd call), so I called just to be sure everything was ok this 2nd time around.
Here's how it went: Person on the phone = POTP Me- "Hi, I'm just making sure your internet is back up because it was down last week, I know it's been a while, so it's probably fine, but I just want to make sure before I make the 45 min drive there" POTP- "what is your question?" Me- repeats the exact same thing POTP- "yes it's working, we're a business. Have a nice day" hangs up
My tone of voice was my higher pitched, customer service voice that I use on the phone to be super sweet and nice, because I know work sucks and I'm not trying to make people's jobs harder.
Now, you might think that a perfectly pleasant conversation, correct? Not if you heard the tone of voice and the fact I was hung up on.
If I had the choice, I wouldn't go test here, but it's not up to me. I have already let my employer know what happened though. Maybe this is corrected to the next perfectly nice person calling in to find out if everything is running ok, because they don't want to drive 45 min (1 hour in traffic) to wait for 4 hours to then end up waiting until the following week, pushing back testing by a week, pushing back the lab test by a week, pushing back employment by a week, etc... you get the point.
The lady on the phone could have just been kind. That's all. Then I would not have...
Read moreThe lady with the short haircut at the desk is very rude and unprofessional. When I walked in she was on her cell phone on speaker gossiping with her friend. I tried to show her the QR code on my phone for the drug test and she asked me to read it off while she was on the phone. So I did and then she asked me to read it off again, so I did, then I just tried to show her. She then proceeded to hang up the phone, and asked me to read it again, and I read it slow as a turtle. Then she got an attitude and asked if I was having a bad day lol. Trying to shift the accountability to me when clearly you don't want to be at work, or are at fault in this scenario.
This was my second time here today because the first time I came she wasn't here, and then she arrived or was dropped of by an suv at 2:46. (I was outside)
She got mad at me. She stated she was having a great day but, after stating she was having a great day, she proceeded to ask me if I was having a great day, which I stated that I was having a great day, and she's the one at work on speaker phone, but I'm the customer (so why talk over you repeatedly), and I stated she didn't speak nor acknowledge me when I walked in. She's only asked me if I was having a bad day because I didn't want to keep repeating the QR code over and over.
Then she said to leave because she was taking me out the system. I said ok, because I understood she just didn't want to work.
It's the African American woman with the blonde hair that looks like Sysco. She's very ghetto and...
Read moreI visited this location for the first time over a year ago and the service hasn't changed to this date. Iv'e witnessed customers enter and exit with ease. That's what you really want. Working people can get in and out on lunch break as there are all types of eating places surrounding Test First. After work and you're eager to get home this is convenient as it sits just off major Hwy. I even noticed 24/7 drug testing service is available..
About the service, I felt I was priority, the lady was fast and welcoming and form what I saw the other day she was a bit witty. You just might laugh leaving this location as the service was with a light heart. Considering the stressfulness of Life good energy is needed.
About the location*maybe because I'm biased to the area I've known since childhood, it's not a bad location. The area is not congested with traffic or crowds. It is actually quiet...
