This sandwich shop is located in the Baylor Medical center Truitt bldg on the lower level. The main cafeteria closes at 7:30 but this place stays open until 1:30am.
This sandwich chain lacks an identity. If you asked me what was one thing at Which Which that they are really known for, I would be at a loss. Everything is OK but nothing is outstanding. I would not go out of my way for any if it.
I tried their sandwiches on 3 separate days. They were all just ok. Nothing to rave about. They made me a Philly cheese steak using roast beef and it was ok but it was not a Philly cheese steak. I had a Buffalo chicken sandwich. Again, not great. It didn't taste like Buffalo chicken. And I had a roast beef sandwich with tomatoes and hot pepper mix. The hot pepper mix was really a giardinaria variation which is made with oil and chopped green olives so it was salty and oily and they forgot the tomatoes. The fries and the sandwiches are luke warm at best.
They blast the music like if you were at a bar. The employees were friendly and pleasant but the loud music and all of the side talk amongst employees did not make me...
Read moreI am new to Which Wich. I went to this one inside Baylor hospital in Dallas, Tx. So naturally rolling in, I was lost.
The Which Wich employee Vivian Randel was so awesome!! I am wheelchair bound, and had never been to Which Wich before. She did not hesitate to come out front and walk up to me to assist me through the entire ordering process, and explained everything in great detail, so as not to get landmined, or blindsided, by any extra up sale charges I may not had been comfortable with, and I ultimately agreed to all of the up-sales anyway solely due to her kindness, and blatant honesty! She made a confusing experience very comfortable, and even pleasurable.
The manager, a large teddy bear of a man, named Mr. Hennessy was equally as kind and helpful when I pulled him aside to compliment Ms. Randel. Their prices may be a bit more than I am used to at similar establishments, but the food is great and employees are super kind. I am so going to be a Which Wich customer...
Read moreFirst time at this location in the basement of one of the Baylor buildings. I found the whole experience to be very disappointing. The wait was very long given there were relatively few people ordering. When I got my sandwich and fries the fries were warm and soggy so I asked for new ones. Waited about 5 minutes for them and they were basically hot and soggy instead. Very unappetizing. The sandwich was ok but some of the meat was gristly. I ended up throwing out the fries and only eating half the sandwich. I think it's worth noting that given this location is in a hospital, I would expect that people visiting the location (other than hospital staff) are going to be under a great deal of stress already. When you step away from a hospital room to get a break, the last thing you want is a negative experience. Management should keep...
