McDonald's — Restaurant in Daly City

I’ve been visiting this location for over 10 years. Staffs are usually very friendly. But I had to give a 1 star rating due to poor manager attitude for the last 2 times I visited.

1st bad experience was I tried to redeem the free medium fries when purchasing 20 pieces nuggets. I pulled up the coupon but for some reason, there was a mixed up glitch on the apps between 20 pc nuggets/get Med fries free & shake/get Med fries free. I tried to explain to the manager and he wouldn’t listen. Instead he just wanted me to listen to him that I should have not press any coupon and let the cashier press. He said he will give me the free fries this time but no next time. I simply asked him to cancel that order if he’s acting that way. But he insisted he will give it to me that time. During this COVID-19 pandemic crisis, I bet no one wants their phone to be touch by strangers.

2nd bad experience happened today. McDonalds are giving thank you meal to healthcare workers, police, firefighters, etc. I’ve been getting my thank you meal from other McDonald and no one ever gave me any attitude. This McDonald’s manager was saying since I am not a nurse or doctor, I am not qualified but he will give it to me today only. I told him I work inside a hospital and I am a healthcare workers. There is no where online saying only qualifiers are doctors & nurse from healthcare .....

All I am saying is if this McDonald is too cheap to participate, it should just withdraw itself from the participating list !!!

I will have to rethink giving all my business to this particular McDonald’s location if this is the service...

I grew up going to this McDonald's and I can say when you order inside you won't have any problems. As for drive thru there will always be one item maybe two missing from your order which can be frustrating especially when you have a big order and your in a rush and don't have time to check everything or it could be late in the evening and your tired and you make your order and specifically request no mayo n onions and get home to find mayo and onions on your burger.

Here's the thing that you may say... Why not just take it out n wipe it off..the problem is, you wanted a burger without mayo and onions and although I do that, when I bite into my burger you can still have that taste in your mouth and of course I'm a be upset especially when I paid for what I asked for. So I've learned that you got to call and let them know, keep your receipt and they give you a new one. It's late night, they're short-staffed and no one's picking up n they don't call back when you leave a message.

Today we went to get ice cream and I asked for the manager. Spoke with Billy that we came two nights ago and they had us park and wait for our order. It was late and we were tired. Got home enjoyed our meal and later realized they forgot to give us our two apple pies. I let Billy know and he asked if I called. At this point I told him... Look! I'm not going to go back and forth on two apple pies but I need you to know you guys are always messing...

DOESNT DESERVE TO GET A STAR. GOOGLE WOULDN'T LET ME POST WITHOUT AT LEAST A STAR SO... Last Sunday we decided to get McDonald's for lunch, since it's the closest to our location. I walked in( 1 person being helped at the register, no other customer waiting in line) Cashier greeted me when he was ready to take my order. BEFORE ORDERING I SPECIFICALLY TOLD CASHIER THAT THE ENTIRE ORDER IS TO BE FRESHLY MADE FROM THE GRILL. I WILL WAIT FOR ALL MY ORDER HOWEVER LONG IT TAKES. I DON'T WANT THE ONES THAT'S BEEN SITTING UNDER THE WARMER. I ordered : (2) 10 pcs. Chicken McNuggets with (1) sauce each (6) Sausage McMuffin with egg and cheese. ( I wanted (2) Oreo McFlurry but their machine is broken) I REPEATED WHAT I SAID ABOUT FRESH OFF THE GRILL Paid CASHIER and thanked him. At home opening the food... ALL (2) 10 pcs. Chicken McNuggets were NOT FRESHLY made from the GRILL! (2) of the McMuffin NOT made with the other (4). ALL (6) McMuffin DID...
