Taco Bell — Restaurant in Daly City

I could never have imagined that there could be a Taco Bell in the whole world that was worse and more terrible in all senses of these two words than the one I visited a little over a year ago in Weed CA located on Highway 5. But I was hugely mistaken. This place here is not only much worse, it is more dangerous than any conceivable obstacle that can delay you for something important. In my case, to get to my workplace on time. On 06. 8.2025 at 8:12pm I decided to stop and get something to eat from this place. After I pulled into the driveway I looked at the time and decided not to drive true but to get out and eat inside because I had 1 hour and 18 minutes until I had to be at work. That's when my nightmare began. As soon as I entered, I felt that something was wrong with this place because there were only two working guys who were talking to each other in Mexican (because I lived in Madrid and the Spanish language is quite different from the one they spoke), but I understood that one of them was telling the other that the night before he had a lot of money and drank so many margaritas that he passed out and doesn't remember anything. But I thought that young people still don't have the habit of protecting themselves from bosses or customers because they can get into trouble with such conversations. I placed the order on the screen intended for orders, but I had to pay with cash at the cash register. I stood there for about 3 minutes and decided to use the time to wash my hands in the toilet. As I entered there, I bumped into another guy who was unzipping his jeans while we were passing by. The toilet inside was terrible, no, I don't want to share about it. I washed my hands and went to pay for my order and see if it was ready yet. Because there were two cars in the drive thru when I entered the establishment. There was no one at the cash register again. I waited a few minutes, but while I was waiting, two people who work as delivery drivers came in. After a while, two girls came in and ordered on the screen like me. The delivery guys started peeking over the counter and asking where their orders were. At that time, a boy from the toilet came out from somewhere inside, eating french fries dipped in some sauce. He took a cup and headed to the soda machine. After him, another young man appeared who said something to the guys working inside the whole time I was there, they smiled and continued making tacos, salads, etc. etc. I understood that this last one was some kind of boss from his gait and his very behavior, so I asked him politely if there was a way for me to pay for my order and know how long it would be ready. He replied yes of course sir and looked at the boy who had bumped into me first in the toilet and then on the way to the soda machine who had sat down and was doing something on his phone. Just by looking at his boss he put his phone in his pocket got up and stood at the cash register I told him that I wanted to pay for my order from screen #2 he looked at me incomprehensibly I pointed to which screen I had placed my order on he looked at me incomprehensibly and stood there as if frozen. The delivery guys started to get nervous. The place was full of people. 40 minutes had passed and I hadn't even paid for my order yet. The boss appeared and started scolding the boy, who in turn was only a body here and his brain somewhere else. I asked how long it would take for the food to be ready. They told me 5 minutes. I said OK but I don't want to eat it there anymore. They wanted it to be put in my bag to go. There were already about 20-25 people there. And it was getting noisy. I went out to make a phone call. It was 9:02 pm when I went inside and asked what was going on with my food, my boss answered me with something like "hmm" and his hand pointed to the drive thru window. I told him that there were only two cars there when I placed my order and 40 minutes had passed since then (and it was actually 50 minutes). I left with food that I didn't try because it wasn't packaged well and the food...

three stars because I did not have to repeat myself, and when I got up to the drive-thru my food was ready, however this is the only thing that I order from Taco Bell and I eat at Taco Bell multiple times a week and I review Taco bells, what you're looking at is about four or five fork full of rice, this is absolutely unacceptable and what I would consider about a half of a normal order I must have ordered this particular exact order over 20 times and I have never gotten this small of an amount even though they change the containers would have held more this is unacceptable and I would have returned it but I actually have to eat for a living strange enough and it's 2:00 in the morning I'm starving and not about to wait in the Drive-Thru line again so pissed off employee that I complain to can spit in my food yes of course an employee is going to spit in your food after you complain so now I'm never going to come here again absolutely and I hope nobody else does in this dump closest down because it's obviously catering to the people that drove up with no windshield and plastic covering it or something instead of people like me that do reviews and care and notice when we only get served could you imagine only getting half of a burrito? you would probably notice, I work hard all day all day and this is what I got for dinner no lunch first thing tomorrow when I wake up I got to go eat because I'm starving and this was all that they served me and I am positive that I overpaid by the way also because this plus two sides of beans cost me over $10 and other Taco bells in the exact same region within so many miles is about $7 that's why why are they...

I worked here from April to now when I needed to move. I was working my last shifts for the next few days to come until quitting earlier than expected last night when a coworker went off on me and physically threatened me two days ago. My boss above me did nothing to appease the situation as the coworker continued to harass me the following day (yesterday). The coworker's name is Robyn. I reported the situation to my assistant GM, Sunny, who spoke with the GM, Janet, and regional GM, Adam Moore. Still nothing was appeased. I'm VERY disappointed by the way the whole situation was handled and especially in front of dinning customers as my boss let Robyn continue on her rampage thru the store, yelling at everyone working and myself. I expected better of my place of employment to remove a worker threatening to harm me and also harass me during my work shift. Unfortunately, this left a VERY foul taste in my mouth as I was expecting to transfer locations and I'm very disappointed in the upper management for continuing to let an unruly employee like that work there with a past history of anger issues with others. I sincerely hope this taco bell continues to strive to do better as it has hoped to do and learns to handle situations like these better in the future. Such a shame taco bell....
