I visited "CAVA DANBURY" last Monday night with my family and we were absolutely delighted. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. One of the managers, Josean, saw us arrive and immediately came over to greet us. His charisma was unique; he took the time to approach our line with a genuine smile to welcome us and personally recommended salad and bowl combinations. His attention made us feel special and truly evokes a feeling of wanting to return to this place. The bowl Josean suggested was, without a doubt, the star dish. The meat was incredibly tender, the spices perfectly balanced, and the rice... simply perfect! We also tried the Cinnamon Pitas with honey, which were crispy, juicy, and flavorful. Furthermore, I asked Josean for a gluten-free option for my daughter, and he personally prepared her dish with such care that she couldn't stop praising how delicious and comforting it was. The service was impeccable. Josean was attentive, fast, and offered us excellent recommendations, making sure we had everything we needed without being invasive. Even the wait in line (no more than 5 minutes) was pleasant. To top it all off, the Blueberry Lemonade was the perfect finishing touch that Monday: perfection in a cup. If you are looking for authentic food, made with care, and exceptional service, "CAVA DANBURY" is the place. We will definitely be back soon! Highly recommended! I strongly suggest you let the manager make your day, just as...
Read moreBEWARE of this CAVA location! We were so excited when we saw a CAVA opening in Danbury- we always stop at the Westport one and love it. Unfortunately, this location was a complete letdown.
First, they were missing multiple key ingredients that make CAVA what it is. I can understand that it’s opening week and there may be high demand, but a heads-up before starting our bowls would’ve been appreciated.
Second, the staff behavior was extremely unprofessional. One employee (tall, thick lashes) spoke rudely to both customers and coworkers- loud, dismissive, and with an attitude that made the whole experience uncomfortable. When I paused to choose alternative ingredients, he actually gave me a nasty look. It made my family and several others visibly uneasy.
Lastly, the food itself was unacceptable. Missing ingredients were replaced, and when I opened my bowl it looked half-empty. Like someone had already eaten from it. Considering the price, it’s ridiculous. At Westport, the bowls are always generous and fresh; here, it looked like leftovers.
We were genuinely excited to support this new location, and can totally understand that the staff is still learning.. but between the rude service, and poor presentation, we won’t be coming back. Hopefully, management steps in before this location ruins CAVA’s...
Read moreThis store opened not even two weeks ago and the place already looks like it needs help. Went to get lunch and they are out of most items. Everyone seems like they didn’t get any sleep and forced to work. I have been to other Cava’s and this one is the worst store ever. How do you run out of all greens and toppers by 2 pm. They really need to get this figured out if they want to stay in business and the food is not cheap. $18 for a rice bowl with a lot of items missing. Unbelievable how a store opens but can’t find people to work and couldn’t even run it properly for two weeks. Then there were these two girls ordering 20 bowls, sides, getting pita breads and one person trying to make 20 bowls. This is a fast food joint not a restaurant. If you need that many bowls, order on the app. This girl was on the phone with someone giving her directions on what to order. One person should be allowed only one bowl in my opinion a s if they need more than one, they need to go back in line. You either need to hire more people or cap the number of bowls one customer can order. It’s as...
