Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Danbury

I’ve ordered from this new location about 1-2x a week for the last couple months. I know they’re getting a lot of shit lately here on Google reviews. Maybe it’s because I normally order for pickup late at night after the rush, but they have ALWAYS have gotten the portions right. Like I am very satisfied with that. Much better than the mill plain location, which seems to progressively get worse with portions the later the evening gets. Consistently. Like at mill plain they’re trying to not make any more food at the end of the night, sometimes they’ll even run out of stuff 30+ minutes early and just not care to make any more.

I’ve only had one bad experience at the chipotlane here at sugar hollow which happened a few days ago. They let one car hold up a line of the rest of us in line for like 10+ mins when I know my food was just sitting there on the shelf. I ultimately parked and went inside to get my food. Simple solution is to do what McDonald’s does and have the person pull into a nearby parking spot so the line can keep moving.

Other than that one hiccup, my 7+ other experiences have been perfect. Thank you for the great portion sizes...

they don’t have it together. first of all, half of our order was missing. My brother placed an online pickup and only my bowl and the chips were in it - not his bowl nor his cup. Although they were very nice and got on it right away when we let them know.

As we sat down, I opened my bowl… which felt really light but I had gotten a salad so I didn’t think much of it but my bowl was COMPLETELY wrong and the portion was VERY SMALL. My brother showed them and they made the correct bowl but I don’t believe that there should’ve been so much confusion.

The staff/guy at the mobile ordering was very nice and quick to help but that’s about it that’s good...

Worst location I ever went to. The whole place was a mess food was everywhere all over the counters. At 6:21pm they had all options sold out until they took their time to replenish the rice…….yes I said rice they did not have any rice available. Most of the meats were gone. A lot of the employees couldn’t not speak a full sentence in English. Chips were stale. Food was cold. Service slow. This location is ran buy kids. Kids who don’t know how to work in a retail properly. To be honest this was a waste of space location, the one in the mall is way better.
