I had the unfortunate experience of having to argue with whatever manager was on duty when I went to go pick up my food that I ordered online. The issue was I ordered a total of four sauces online and when I checked the bag inside the restaurant before leaving, they only gave me two which frustrated me because this was the third time that this already happened. Youâre able to see all the sauces in this Sonic, so I saw that they had all the sauces that I had requested in stock and I had requested it because thatâs how many that I wanted, 4, and I was able to select the quantity online so I shouldâve been provided that in my order from the beginning. I spoke up to complain, rightfully so, and was directed to who I believe is the manager of this particular Sonic. I pretty much told him that they need to do better in honoring what is being ordered and Iâm requesting a certain quantity of sauces thatâs allowable online, thatâs how much should be given from what I selected. Instead of apologizing and accepting the feedback, he argued saying theyâre not gonna give me that many sauces, based on what I ordered and the quantity that they think I should have based on what I ordered, when thatâs not any of their concern. The manager said that there is a discrepancy of how many sauces you can order online to what theyâre actually gonna give you in the store itself, which doesnât sound right to me. If Iâm a paying customer, which I am, I should be provided with the quantity of sauces that I was allowed to select online. They had everything in stock too, I could see it with my own eyes.    Read moreTo be fair, they just opened. Cashier was friendly but had a heavy accent and I didnât understand all that she said. Place was empty on a Monday evening with an occasional drive through order.
I ordered popcorn chicken with the bbq sauce and a large tater tots and was forced to choose a fountain because it was included but they didnât have Diet Coke or Pepsi, just Coke Zero đ¤Ž.
The popcorn chicken had the consistency for rocks and there was not enough bbq sauce in the container to cover the surface of all pieces.
The tater tots were almost as hard and cracked like a potato chip when I tried to stab it with the plastic fork - also the fork tongs just bent forcing me to use my handsâŚwhat a hardship - thatâs not my point.
While I waited for my order, I noticed that the counter by the window was dirty and sticky with the remnants of a spilled drink and there were only a handful of tables and chairs that barely filled a third of the floor space.
There seemed to be enough staff behind the counter for at least one to clean the tables and counters but I did see one young man later emptying the garbage cans outside as I sat in my car attempting to consume my rock hard edibles.
Itâs location is convenient for me and the late night hours make it the only thing open when it is late. Iâm not sure when they close or if they close but the fry guy needs to do better and not overcook the Chicken...
   Read moreI purchased a sonic blast from New Milford where I work and noticed it was sour (spoiled milk) about 15 mins into my drive back to Danbury where I live. I said well no problem there is a sonic not even 5 mins from my house I will have them remake it.
I walked in and let the young heavy set Indian kid know I purchased the drink 30 mins ago and wanted it remade because it tasted sour. He looked at me like I had 3 heads and asked me 20 questions. Finally he calls a manager who I retell my issue to. He angrily says I will remake it but itâs going to taste the same because itâs from the same machine. I said well no I purchased it in New Milford where I work and just drove home across the street. The little heavy Indian kid says âwow you told me you bought it hereâ I said no I didnât why would I lie for a $6 drink that is clearly right here in front of us.
The manager then raises his voice and says âI will remake it only because you are a guest but you BETTER not do this againâ I took the drink and threw it in the garbage and walked out. This is my 2nd poor experience with this âmanagerâ I didnât get his name but he was probably in his 40âs wearing a hat around 4:50-5:10 PM at the Danbury location. Iâve never had such poor customer service in 40 years of visiting establishments. Sonic should be ashamed to have someone like this...
