On a recent visit to a nearby area, I ended up discovering this gem of a place. A very relaxed, comfortable and authentic place for a good old fashioned breakfast/brunch. I was craving an omelette and the Western Omelette hit the spot. A very hearty portion, but more importantly the meal was not greasy or heavy. It was fresh and everything was just right. To top it off, the service from Heather was just outstanding. If you want to have a casual but a very satisfying breakfast in a friendly setting, this is a great place to visit.

This is such a cute cafe. The staff was so polite, happy and cheerful. As we are not from the area and had some questions, they were super helpful and happy to explain. The food was amazing! Fresh made and prices perfect. If you are in the Danvers area, this is a must stop place. The cheddar bowl is highly recommended!

I went to this place and had the worst customer experience ever. I placed a pickup order over the phone which went fine. I ordered 2 french toast with cinnamon sorinkled on top, and 2 scrambled eggs). When I arrived to pick up my order, I checked my food and noticed there was no cinnamon sprinkled on top of my french toast. I informed the young girl who was assisting me. She had a nasty attitude. I'm not sure why she is in a customer service role. She took my food to the back and sprinkled cinnamon on top of ONE french toast. I doubled checked it again, and noticed that only ONE french toast had cinnamon on it so I asked if she could sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on the rest of my french toast. She started going back and forth telling me that there is cinnamon on my french toast and I'm telling her that it's only on one french toast. She takes my food to the kitchen and YELLS, "she wants MORE cinnamon on ALL of her french toast." I walked towards the kitchen area and told her, "No! I DID NOT say that, I ask for cinnamon to be spinkled on the french toast that didn't have any cinnamon on them, so please relay the message CORRECTLY." She brings me my food back and there a TON of cinnamon on my french toast. I asked her are you okay because you have a really bad attitude for you to be in a customer service industry. I told her I do not want the food now because there's TOO much cinnamon on my french toast and left the restaurant. I should have spoken to the manager about her behavior but had to get back to work. I will never return back to this establishment if this is the type of service I will receive. That young girl needs to be FIRED because she's going to cause this restaurant to lose out on a lot of...

I rarely leave food reviews but felt this was warranted. First time here, I live in Danvers and always drive by maple street cafe so wanted to check out the food. I decided on take out and got the avocado toast w 2 eggs over easy, it was EXTREMELY bland and the toast was soggy. The eggs were cooked good and it was the only thing I ate. If you are going to put avocado toast on the menu then you should offer a sourdough bread instead, I was craving that crunch you get from a good avocado toast! The guacamole was just slapped on and there wasn’t enough… plus it was dark, like it was old, and literally had no flavor! I also got a side of corn beef hash, and it was way too salty! I looove corn beef hash and never had a bad one… until now!!! I’m normally a creature of habit and I have my go too’s for breakfast but for my first experience here, I was really...

We arrived at Maple Cafe around 9 a.m. and ordered coffee and breakfast—everything was fine. An older lady was nice and came by three times to refill our coffee, but we declined, which is normal because we were eating. The woman who initially attended to us at the table came and threw the check for payment. I said, ‘Okay,’ at 9:30 a.m., left my card on the table, and she came, took it, processed the payment, and then returned, taking the plates and asking if we were done. I said, ‘Well, I guess we are, right?’ It felt a bit rushed, but yes. I don’t think they should rush customers like that. I arrived early on a Monday, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I wanted to enjoy the morning with my wife, but we ended up leaving within 30 minutes (ordering food, food arriving, eating, and paying)—it was exactly 28 minutes! You...
