Panini Pizzeria — Restaurant in Danvers

I've been to this place a few times now, but today (Nov 21, 2021) the experience was horrible. Long story short, some bold older guy yelled at the young kid that was taking care of our order. In my understanding, the kid was doing his job just right; however, regardless of the circumstances the way this kid was treated was not right. Seconds later he started tearing down and had to go to the bathroom as he couldn't take the embarrassing moment that he had been through. I had never seen that bold guy at the place before and to be honest they are better off without his miserable presence.

I will be back there because their food is amazing. But, no one should be going through what that kid went through at that moment. Also, he came back from the bathroom and continued to do his job non-stop (housekeeping the tables, taking orders on the phone, taking care of customers). I hope that guy is ok..

I'm literally still sitting in the restaursnt but i couldn't resist. This place is gonna be my go-to munch spot for now on. it's EXCELLENT. It's not super-fancy artisinal fine dining, but it's sleek and modern inside, good vibes all around.

The pizza reminds me of the feeling of going to papa gino's or peppy's at the Willows as a kid, it's good in that super-nostalgic, no-frills capital P "Pizza" kinda way, and quintessentially north shore. I dunno where they get their crust from but whoever is responsible for it needs a raise, it's so light and crispy, yet still folds beautifully.

I also had a chicken parm panini, which was not quite as good, but again solid, no-frills and made me feel like a kid again, and the bread is SO good. They even give you a little pasta salad cup, which is a genius little palatte cleanser, though it's nothing special.

Overall an amazing experience, I will be back as soon and as often as I can...

Okay so I only got a calzone for delivery, so I can't speak to everything they sell here. Their calzones are delicious. But make no mistake, they are huge. They are absolutely immense. I was eating that thing for like a week (not recommended). They are huge. Like if you're big, bring a friend. If you're not big, bring a family. It was so flavorful and filled and delicious and it even looked appetizing. But this was not the baby calzone I'm used to. This was big daddy calzone, full of calzone love. I got some sort of chicken, broccoli, and cheese combination calzone. I don't remember what I ordered. I just remember eating it, and eating it, and eating it, and eating it, and eating it, and eating it, and eating it, and eating it. Tastes good out of the fridge, but I like it better warm, and even better when it was fresh (go figure). 10/10 will order a calzone I can't...
