This place definitely left a lasting impression on me. Went here for the 19.99 special, but aside from this had only dined in this location one other time back when it opened.
First impressions: Dirty all over. The whole place looked utterly gross between the floors and tables. I have worked at several restaurants and never let it get this bad, even when I was the only one working - running the bar, changing out kegs, taking table orders, running food, and cleaning tables. Plenty of staff standing around, but all the unbussed tables when I walked in were still dirty when I left.
Service: Really really bad. The kind of service that will keep you from going back. We're talking the server slamming the drink down on the table for no reason, and no refills or asks if you need anything. This was late afternoon, hardly anyone in there meaning 1-2 other tables to serve between.
Food: The fried stuff was decent and hot. Biggest positive side to the whole experience. The entrée was wet and harder to stomach given the state of how filthy the place was. Couldn't finish it.
Conclusion: A YouTuber I follow ranked this burger as "S" tier, meaning top of the line. Needless to say, I now hold their opinion in no regard and will avoid "B-Dubs" far and wide for the rest of my foodie journey. If you end up here - sit at the bar, get some beers and fried food - that is my updated view of this joint as far as best case...
Read moreI've had multiple experiences with my orders not correct when picking up or delivery. I recently had the southern chicken sandwich delivered from door dash. The chicken sandwich did not have slaw or Swiss cheese, and a small splat of mayo could barely tell. I had called the restaurant to explain the sandwich was pretty much a breaded chicken on a bun, nothing else. The manager told me not his problem it was delivery from a 3rd party and complain to door dash. Door dash is not responsible for missing ingredients but the restaurant itself. The manager hung up on me and 60 buck total bill for dry chicken sandwiches ridiculous. Other experiences when ordering pick up the hostess are always drunk and always have the wrong sauce in my pick up. I selected a scheduled time when arriving the food is never ready, and I had to wait for them to make it. Kitchen staff walks around, and it seems they are really high, so it's understandable why all my orders are bad experiences. For the price, McDonald's is a way better option for chicken sandwiches. I'm done with Buffalo wild wings after the manager hung up on me, not worth my time. I even offered to bring my delivery back, and they can correct the problem, but as I said, the manager told me this is not their...
Read moreWent to the Danville restaurant with my wife and 2 adult sons to watch the Notre Dame - Miami game last night. Not crowded - seated rather quickly. Server was prompt - took drink order for the 3 of us that arrived first and brought them quickly. Last son arrived about 15 minutes later and again received drink quickly. Order was taken when we were ready and then almost everything went south. They had trouble getting a nationally televised game on even one TV (finally did get it on 2 others) located in places that some had to turn heads sideways to see. That somewhat negated the whole purpose of going there. Getting our order was the biggest issue (and the reason my wife and I havent been to this restaurant for several years). It took over 30 minutes to get an order that included wings - chicken strips - and two sandwiches. My feeling is that either kitchen equipment or staff is insufficient to handle even a moderate number of orders. I can't imagine what the wait would have been if the restaurant had been busy. The food (when it finally arrived) was pretty good and the prices seemed fair. If you have plenty of time - are there to socialize with friends or family - or share a favorite televised sporting event this restaurant MAY be a...
