Where to start? I guess you'd want to start with drinks! Which were impossible to get. When it got there, you get a beautiful, long, black hair in your kids water. We asked for kids menus and Lizzie said they are on the main menu (we know they are not) So, another waitress brought us 2 kids menus Humm...Then, you get an appetizer and you ask for Ranch but they don't bring it to you, so another waitress does! We ordered steaks (one medium and one medium rare) they both came out looking like beef Jerky. They were so well done and flavorless (literally, NO seasonings whatsoever) I asked for Honey for my sweet potato fries and was told they don't have any. I told her we come here quite often and get it every time. (She finally came back with some) My husband ordered a side salad but was charged for a BLT salad instead and when mentioned, it became an ordeal. Our "waitress " Lizzie, was by far the WORST server I've ever had.... ever. She was so awkward and insecure that she couldn't talk to you. She couldn't figure out how to put in our order on her tablet and kept repeating everything we said SEVERAL times. I'm all about giving people chances, but this was ridiculous. If she's new, she's not trained and doesn't need to be on the floor irritating customers. We asked for sauces for the chicken (3ppl at our table ordered chicken) and she brings us 2 sauces. She didn't even bring us the BBQ we asked for. She then tells other employees that "we" had a problem. Yes, there was definitely a problem, but it wasn't us. We were never rude. However, we do expect our food to be prepared and totaled in as it should be. We shouldn't have to have 3 employees at our table to take a salad down to the correct pricing. Your kitchen needs to pay attention and cook steaks accordingly and the servers need to be trained and supervised before placed on the floor. BUT SHOUT OUT to the waitresses that DID help us when they didn't have to! They were so kind and helpful! My husband tipped them on the way out. Not that it matters or that this will ever reach anyone who genuinely cares but we eat there very often. We are there with work events, family and friends all the time but we will never return. Not after...
Read moreOur first visit was a bit of a trainwreck. We will probably give it some time before we visit there again. Hopefully, they'll work out the bugs. Granted, our server was fairly new, but that didn't account for the chicken and bacon being left off my Cobb salad or my friend's salad being drowned in dressing when he asked for it on the side. Pictured: the chicken they brought separately for my salad. Other little hiccups, like not having silverware and having to go get our own, and getting the wrong drinks, really just piled onto the experience. It was my birthday, so I ordered dessert to go (cookie sundae, their only offering). I was assured it would be packed in a way that the ice cream wouldn't melt. Pictured is the tiny scoop of ice cream I saw when I got home. They comped the dessert for all of the glitches, so no harm there. Another picture shows the plate of loose crackers that were served randomly by some server. A small bowl was brought to me by yet a different server, well after I got the sushi roll "for the soy sauce." Both of those got a chuckle. The big cookie was great! Both salads were big and very fresh, though. I also added the crab Rangoon "sushi" roll. That was excellent. It's too big to be an appetizer, so most of that came home. The prices were above average. All the steaks are served as combos with another food item. I'm not sure if just a regular steak dinner can be ordered. I put all of this into an email to the ownership group and in a "contact us" form on the website, but to date, I have not gotten a response.
Edit: after they asked me to enter my info on the customer response form, I still haven't...
Read moreMy family and I went out to eat at the Danville location for the first time. We have perilously ate at the Brendon crossing location and it was fantastic so we were excited to take our kids to the one in our area. Our watress Taylor F. Was amazing, she did a fantastic job, kept our drinks full and was overall just great.
As for the food, the kitchen staff should be ashamed of themselves. I have worked in kitchens for 15 years and you can tell when the kitchen is being ran by someone who has no idea what they are doing. The food was terrible. We got the chips and dip, the Queso was grainy, the chips were stale. My son got a smash burger it was like a cracker, burnt to a crisp, all the way to the middle. My husband and I got the filet mignon I ordered my rare, he ordered his well done. My stake was not even seared on the outside it was light grey, almost pink and raw, not rare raw, it was like they quickly rolled it on the grill and didn’t even try to cook it. My husbands was the same way, and it was supposed to be well done. They use no seasoning on there food what so ever. DO NOT ORDER the crab ragoon it is just a deep fried sushi roll and the rice was mushy and oily. I spent $150, I could have spent a 1/3 of that at Dairy Queen and it would have been better food than this.
Unless you want to spend a bunch of money on food that is worst then McDonald’s then go for it.
Our family will...
