I walked in and the place and it seemed a bit empty, which wasnt necessarily a bad thing, this just meant that it wasnt going to be super loud. The waiters were kind and took good care of me, i ordered the shrimp quesadilla and a dr. Pepper. The drinks took a bit long but i was there with alot of people so i guess that can be understood, the food took a decent amount of time. My quesadilla was very cheesy, just how i liked it. Although, i think that the grilled shrimp could have been a bit better. It almost seemed undercooked. The totrtilla itself also seemed to be a little undercooked. Despite those two little problems, i did enjoy the cheesy quesadilla. It was good indeed, just not as good as other mexican reastraunts that ive been to. The atmosphere was quiet and kind of empty, it just didnt seem to ever have many people at once. All in all, i did enjoy my meal and i might go back again, but if i was to recommend a mexican reastraunt to someone it wohld be one of the others that...

Food was good. Service too slow. Waitress ignored us on more than one occasion to stand at bar chatting it up with two ladies getting liquid lunches. We waited 10 to 20 minutes after eye contact while she laughed it up with ladies at bar. It's also important to note that there wear only 2 occupied tables the table behind us LEFT before we even gave our order. So most of time it was only US and drunks at the bar. We waited over an hour total for order to be taken and order given to kitchen because....Waitress had to stop at bar to check in with her ladies first. Only one order for two people turned in BUT.....waited 35 minutes for my order and another 15 for sons. Can only imagine what it would have been with a few more tables to give orders....Not to mention if it were full to capacity. It's NOT also...

I really do like their food but I would only order from DoorDash from now on. They had karaoke going on and the waitress couldn’t understand me because 1. It was loud and 2. The language barrier which is totally fine but she never checked to see how we were doing or bring us our check so when we went to leave we left cash with a very generous tip. They yelled at us and made us come inside to prove we weren’t stealing and had to wait for a literal thumbs up before we could leave. I tried to tell her cash was on the table but she didn’t understand me, which makes it more frustrating. I do see how that looks but we couldn’t find her so we left it on the table but I don’t appreciate the first thought was us stealing and how they made such a scene. Wish I could take back our 50% tip. Really left...

I've eaten here several times since they opened a few years ago, and always had a decent experience and nice service, but just okay food. For starters, the chips and rice - two things I look forward to the most - are lacking in flavor, and the chips are quite thick. There's also something to be said for a refined and manageable menu; this one reads like the Cheesecake Factory! Overall no serious complaints, just a little underwhelming. I'm not sure why they unseated Guadalajara as 'the' Mexican spot in Danville (shiny object syndrome?), or what they’ve done to deserve the fanfare.

I'm giving Mi Pueblo four stars for three things: 1) Sopa de Pollo (Chicken Soup with rice, avocado, and more) is AMAZING (and huge!!!!); 2) the chips. These are not your garden variety tortilla chips. At least a star or two better than most any Mexican restaurant you'll find in the American mass market. Places in San Antonio or Phoenix that are in the barrio might be better, but Danville doesn't have a barrio :-). 3) The fajita nachos de pueblo are pretty darn fine, too, but the soup is something that shouldn't be passed up.

Well. I gotta say. They have great food. And good service. I was in town for a short period. It became my go to place. I will say. ... when I went to the restroom.... and returned.... my son was drinking a margarita on the rocks. And he is not old enough. Lol. But ... he is a young man. So no big deal. But. ...they really shoukd i.d. kids before handing out booze. Any how. Great place.
