Five Guys — Restaurant in Dartmouth

I use the online order format, then pick up when it's ready & it has not disappointed! I signed up for text alerts which will send me the link to check in when I'm on my way & then again when I'm there & I've never waited longer than 5min when I arrived. I usually order the same thing, single burger, regular cheeseburger (various toppings on both), fries, soda or if I'm feeling fancy we'll get chocolate shakes 😁 & those are sooooo good! My only complaint is the size for what you pay, it's a little small for a not small price 😔. The burgers are always cooked perfectly (I HATE undercooked burgers) with fresh ingredients & always what I asked for. The fries are sooo good & I love how they throw them in on top of the fries box, lol! Always plenty left over, I just wish I knew a good way to reheat them as I can never finish & hate throwing them out....maybe toaster oven?! Let me tell you why 5 Guys is the GOAT of burger joints, granted you aren't allergic to peanuts. When you make your order, the cashier shouts "2 patties!" and you know your day is about to be made as the cooks go to work. You can even watch them make it if you like, but you're hungry so you grab some peanuts, fill a cup or two of ketchup and anxiously await your number to be called, and it's a joyous moment when it does because you know how good that first fry will be as you dig for your juicy burger. My god, that first bite I'm in heaven, the ingredients are so fresh, everything is in perfect balance, and before you know it take that last bite where all the flavor has congregated and BAM with an explosion of flavor the burger is gone. Although the burger is now a distant memory, happily you still have plenty of fries leftover because 5 Guys doesn't cut corners, you get what you paid for here. Now picture all of that while Fortunate Son is playing in the background like you're having your lunch on a Huey helicopter flying into Vietnam 🤌...

God awful atrocious. My wife has a gluten allergy, thankfully 5 Guys is usually accommodating. We entered the restaurant and placed our order just like previous times. We ordered 2 little cheeseburgers gluten free, a little fry gluten free, and a cheeseburger (non gluten free), requested all to be placed in a separate bag. When the order came out all the food was in the same bag. I informed the clerk that this was incorrect and this should have been in different bags, he said he didn't see it. So he made a whole new order. The woman that was working in the back informed the bagger that this whole order was to be placed in separate bags. Again this was wrong at least they put it in 3 bags just not the 4 it should have been. So now a 3rd order of fries was needed to be made. When this order came out the bagger was again going to make the same mistake but I had to scream out no, to stop him. This order took at least an hour all do to incompetence.
