Jimmy's Pizza — Restaurant in Dartmouth

POOR SERVICE!! Ordered linguica and fries sub with some extras on it. Unfortunately, the sub was only made with linguica and fries, nothing added as requested. I called and they said they would make another sub as ordered. This time the sub did not have fries on it. I brought it back in and the grumpy older man (I assume he’s the owner) told me he would give me fries on the side. I declined the offer and asked them to make the sub correctly(now for the 3rd time).The owner told me he would not re-make the sub and told me I would have to go elsewhere and handed me a refund. I explained that I didn’t want the refund, just the sandwich as ordered and he refused to serve me. He was clearly bothered by the fact that he was wasting food. I have been here several times before and always thought he was grumpy, but today I witnessed it first hand. Do better...

I made an order for delivery to UMASS Dartmouth, which was surprising that they deliver here at all. Finding a 4-star food delivery to campus wasn't easy, finally I settled on Jimmy's Pizza. I made my order and it went without any issues, they made sure to double check the address and order. Nothing outstanding or beyond basic expectations.

The food was pretty good with the exception of the cheesy fries. I had a Steak Special grinder and BLT grinder, with a side of cheesy fries. The grinders were good, but the BLT grinder was a little char heavy on the bread, but I like my subs crispy so i don't mind. The cheesy fries were stuck together, and not even by cheese, probably stuck from being in the freezer too long. Yuck. Wish I didn't order them. Still better than...

I have been getting Jimmy's pizza for over 10 years mostly. take out because they used to have delivery. We love the delivery guy; he's always with a smile and friendly. Even if it was pouring or snowing out, we could always count on them. When football season starts, we order from them every Sunday – no cooking for me and no missing any part of the game. We usually get the family size with linguiça and mushrooms on it. The mushrooms are nice and big and cooked just right, not dried out. The sauce and crust are delicious. Pick-up service is special for me I use a cane every week. One of the employees carries my pizza out to my car; even the owner, a kind man, carries it out for me. They are all very pleasant.
