We drove through the store on Kimberly Road in Davenport, IA at approximately 6:15pm on October 22, 2020. Our order did not come with a receipt to provide an order number.
I tried to pull up the offers page on my phone, but it would not load. At the window, I showed the team member my phone and explained that I had wanted to use a coupon but the page wouldn't load, and was there a chance to use a coupon anyway? If not, that was ok. The team member - who was extremely polite and professional - said she needed to get the manager.
The manager immediately began yelling at us that he had to see the coupon code. I calmly explained that it wouldn't load was the problem, was there anything we could do? He yelled at us again that he had to see the code. I said to forget the coupon then, and he yelled - I want to stress that he was yelling enough that his mask fell below his mouth - that he had to delete our entire order or it would look like we were stealing. Confused, I said that we seemed to be having a big miscommunication. I was very confused as to why yelling at customers was his first line of response. He yelled at us more as I tried to explain that I just wanted our order and we could just leave the coupon matter alone, I just wanted to get dinner to my kids at this point. I asked for a corporate number and he yelled at us that it was on the website and left the window. The team member apologized profusely and took our card and handed us our order.
The red haired manager was completely out of line. This experience completely ruined our night. We canceled our plans and just stayed home with the children we were picking up dinner for. We haven't had a date night in months and the red haired manager -again, we did not receive a receipt with our order, which had a few incorrect items - completely ruined our night. I am still shaking from being accused of stealing in a drive through for asking about a coupon. This was entirely inappropriate. We can never return to Burger King for risk of seeing this aggressively rude manager. I hope he treats the team members better than he treats customers because they do not deserve hours at a time of this kind...
Read morethey got my drive thru order completely wrong, but i am giving them 5 stars for the following reason: i ordered a whopper and onion rings.. i pulled into a parking spot to eat, as i was in a hurry and just wanted to get my food, scarf it down and go. i peaked in the bag and saw french fries instead of onion rings... no biggie... little mistake. i know a lot less people order onion rings than fries, so i chalked it up to that. i ate the large fries, and reached in the bag for my whopper. that's when i saw they gave me chicken fries. i can't eat spicy food, and the chicken fries are too spicy for me. that's when i knew that i got someone else's order, and someone got my meal.. i went through the drive-thru again, and explained, but they already knew that i would be back! they didn't even question the fact that i already ate all the fries. then they gave me a large onion rings, and my whopper made the way i like it! very pleased with this...
Read moreI tried to order my breakfast at approximately 9:15a.m.. I placed the order of 5-$1.00 sausage biscuits. Was told there would be a 7-minute wait for that order. I said, okay, I'll wait for fresh biscuits. But, when I arrived at the drive up Windows, I was told I could only get 4-sausage biscuits. The employee told me that, at the middle of their stride for breakfast service, the Restaurant wasn't making enough biscuits to fill my order. I made the comment that, this is Burger King, where I was supposed to get it my way. The employee informed me, "not here. " I never even received a receipt for the portion of my order I was allowed to have from the negligent employees at this location. The owners need to SERIOUSLY consider changing the inconsiderate, unprepared, lazy employees at this Store. I'm a retired Chef, and would never tell a customer they couldn't have what they attempt to order, because I wasn't going to make it for...
