Horrible Service! They got our order wrong then they like to argue about it and try to charge me for a new coffee when "They" are the ones that messed up!!! The manager likes to argue and say she heard you say something and you didn't say something else. We ordered a "medium "decaf coffee. They gave us a "small" decaf coffee. I told them we ordered a medium. They went and got a meduum coffee but then they were trying to charge me for a whole new coffee. Not just for the difference but for the full price. Who does that????Then the manager came over and said with NO smile and looked at me all mad "You ordered a small coffee I heard you and I repeated it " I said no we didn't we wanted a medium. Then she started to name off the other items we ordered and asked rudely if we got that. I said yes we did and I drove off. I do not appreciate being treated like that especially by a manager whom is supposed to make things right. I left upset and not ever wanting to go to ANY Dunkin Donuts because of her!!! Isn't the custumer always right? Or what is your motto? The custumer is never right and I'm going to argue with them and set them straight. Here's what should've happened: She should've said with a smile: I'm sorry about that let me get you a new Medium Decaf Coffee at no charge. Have a great day! If she would've made it right then I would not think anything negatively of Dunkin Donuts as a whole. The point wasn't getting a free coffee the point was the way they treat their custumers. It would've made me see Dunkin Donuts in a more positive way. I just think "Dunkin Donuts" now and I am Disgusted!!!!Oh and by the way, this is not the first time they get my order wrong at this particular Dunkin Donuts. It has been several times continually so that is why I am writing this negative review. I hope someone there really sees this and really takes it seriously as to how your employees AND managers are treating their customers when there is any problem. The orders I have are simple. That is what they are supposed to do. How can you get it wrong? I just don't understand it. Where has All Good Customer Service gone? I don't know....
Read moreI totally went to Dunkin' at the wrong time of day. I'd had dinner about an hour prior and wanted something sweet to cap off the night, though. With that in mind, I decided to try this Dunkin', which I had yet to visit.
From the Dunkin' locations I've been to in the Quad Cities, this one does many of the same things. That is to say, they offer pretty much the same food and beverages and contain about 90% of the same fixtures and design. The walls are neutral brown or beige, the same skinny yellow cone light fixtures are suspended throughout the space, and there's a display of their bagged coffee at one end of the dining room. The overhead has a pretty standard drop ceiling with fluorescent lights throughout as well.
That remaining 10%, however, just differentiates this location to make it a little unique. In addition to the aforementioned lighting, there are also two white light fixtures that look like a rotated ellipse (or a smooshed down moon, your pick). The floors are a combination of 2 foot square brownish ceramic tile in the counter area and wood-grained tiling in the dining area. There's also a three-panel painting of a Dunkin' mug spilling coffee artfully and disjointedly across the wall. It's nice that a chain coffee shop can still have ways for each of their locations to be a little unique unto themselves.
I ended up getting just a glazed blueberry donut. The barista got it for me quickly and I paid just as expeditiously with my Google Pay. The chairs and table I sat to eat at were clean and comfy. The donut was the level of deliciousness I'd expect from donuts at Dunkin'.
If I were in this part of Davenport and needed a donut and beverage again, I'd consider coming back here again....
Read moreThis place is hit and miss. I started getting my iced coffee here since it's much cheaper than Starbucks and Dunn Bros. The first few times I got the iced coffee, it was perfect. Then, for some reason, the amount of cream they put in it increased... dramatically. I used to get a small iced coffee - two creams, one sugar. Then I got a medium iced coffee, two creams, one sugar. Since I started getting the mediums, the color of the beverage has gotten lighter and lighter. So I went to a medium ONE cream, ONE sugar. It's more cream than it is coffee! I'd like to know what constitutes as one cream! It has to be more than one pump.
Staff has always been really friendly at the drive-through. However, in the store, like another reviewer mentioned, there was an employees whose friends has stopped by and they were all hanging out, chatting and goofing off. Not very professional.
Until the creamer issue is resolved, I won't be back. It doesn't even taste like coffee at this point. Check out my pic - that's a medium iced coffee with ONE cream. Wayyyyyyy too light.
I went back one more time... this time I asked for "light cream" per the instructions of another DD employee. Same problem - way. too. much. cream. Also, this time, the person handling the window/ordering seemed really confused and at the pickup window, it was someone else entirely... sttruggling with my order. Forget the low prices - this place isn't worth the...
