Ciro's has long been my favorite pizza spot, a place I've been since childhood. Many of the waitresses know me and my family, which only adds to the charm. However, my recent experience with their delivery service was profoundly disappointing and has tarnished my once-fond view of this establishment.
The delivery driver displayed an astonishing lack of professionalism, the likes of which I have never encountered with any other food delivery service. While I try to consider that he might have been having an off day, his behavior was inexcusable. I distinctly remember his inability to navigate the call box, waiting a mere five minutes before abandoning the delivery without even attempting to contact me directly.
When confronted, he falsely claimed to have called my phone multiple times, despite no missed calls on my end. Instead of resolving the situation, he chose to argue and blame me, insisting that the fault lay with me. Even when he offered to redeliver the now cold pizza, his attitude remained condescending, questioning whether I would actually be home, despite knowing I was.
This individual displayed an immature and narrow-minded attitude, which, unfortunately, overshadowed the quality of Ciro's food. While I've loved their offerings for years, I cannot overlook the incompetence of certain employees. With numerous other pizza options in town, I will not be returning to Ciro's. After 25 years of loyalty, I never expected to be treated with such disrespect. This review isn't about a cold pizza; it's about the unacceptable behavior of a delivery driver that led me to request a refund for an order I never received due to his...
Read moreI'm sadly disappointed in Ciro's. With all the positive reviews I was expecting some quality pizza, but what we got was anything but. To start, $17 for a 16" two topping pizza seemed pretty steep (several other places around the area come in at that price for larger sizes) but we figured we'd give it a shot regardless cause it was close. So my girlfriend and I ordered garlic rolls and a large pepperoni, half with roasted peppers. The garlic rolls were the only good thing about the order. Unboxing the pizza everything looked great until picking up the first slice, at which point both the "roasted" peppers and a hefty amount of grease slid off the cheese. Ignoring that, I picked up the spilled peppers and mistakenly piled them back on. Upon tasting the pizza it was clear the pepperoni used was cheap, with an almost waxy consistency, and the peppers were no better. They were quite clearly not roasted, and probably straight from the can because they were lukewarm and tasted more like tomatoes than anything. Half the pizza wound up...
