Cloud 9 Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Davie

I’m really disappointed to say that my coworkers and I won’t be going to Cloud 9 anymore. We’re Hard Rock employees so we get an “in the biz” discount which is a nice perk, and Shema always makes us feel welcome and appreciated. It’s such a great spot to unwind with a couple rounds of pool after work.

Despite all this, the smoking situation has completely ruined it for us. Apparently, there’s a specific group of people and only those people are allowed to smoke inside, which is unfair and honestly unpleasant for the rest of us who just want to relax in a comfortable environment, but you never know when they’re gonna show up and ruin it for everyone. Me and my friends even stopped in on a karaoke night one time and it was slammed! Everyone was having fun and taking turns singing, until these same people got on stage, all smoking cigarettes. Almost the entire bar just got up and left. Karaoke and smoking don't mix. SMFH

We’ll miss the good vibes and the fun atmosphere, but until the weird smoking issue gets sorted out, we’ll have to find a new spot for our after-work hangouts. We'd rather spend our money elsewhere, even without the discount, than to have to sit in here and be surrounded by smoke all night after being surrounded by smoke all day at work. My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale and this bar showed up on a Google search and had decent reviews. We decided to the take the drive into Hollywood, FL and try it out. It's a good dive bar with a decent size dance floor and several bar games to play. There was a DJ playing good dance music, although it was a bit loud. On to the best part, it was all-you-can-drink for only 10.75. They have a list of the drinks that were included and allow you could pick anything on the list, including shots, beer and mix drinks. The bartender was really nice, she was incredibly hot and was quick about refilling drinks. Would definitely come back here again, especially on a weekend since Friday was a little slow but...

Not my personal experience whatsoever....but whatever this place might of been before it is not now. They have FREE LIQUOR from 11PM to 1PM and guess may be what that attracts. People I know that have been there say they WILL SERVE ANY ONE WHO IS NOT FALLING DOWN DRUNK - IF THEY APPEAR SOBER. When asked to stop serving someone if THEY DEEM the individual NOT DRUNK they will continue to serve them free booze. They also have a whole lot of young people going there and in the bathroom serving up and selling hard drugs...tells me that the owners are probably "ON THE TAKE". Honestly think that this is a club that gives other clubs a VERY BAD NAME - OKAY SO WHAT DO YOU SAY LET'S CLOSE THESE...
