iTea — Restaurant in Davis

A very average boba/milk tea shop that misses some key aspects of a great boba place. Costumer service: Very hit or miss. Most of the times I was here the costumer service was very mediocre and at times made me not want to come again. In fact, I believe that it's one of the less friendlier boba places I've been to in Davis. Flavor and taste: I have tried many things on their menu from their regular milk teas, fruit teas, and summer forsty series and I can say that they were all very okay. Not great but not bad. For reference my favorite boba place in Davis is t4. Value: Again very average and in fact can be a little more pricey than other boba places. I really do like the larger size cup they offer though.

Overall, I give it 3/5 stars. The only reason I come back is because of convenience to and from UCD. If transportation isn't an issue for you I'd suggest trying other boba tea...

Orders can be made via in-store kiosks or an app, service was fast and staff were friendly. I ordered the taro milk tea with boba ($5.50) for take-out and this is one of my favorite versions of the drink that I tried. The vivid purple color, strong flavor with blended bits of taro, and the chewy boba all looked and tasted exactly as I hoped.

I see why iTea remains a popular spot for boba and snacks (like their popcorn chicken - which I plan to try another time). Since the price of drinks is about the same as elsewhere, I would say the quality and variety make coming here more worth it as compared to other boba tea...

They gatekeep the bathroom, say they don’t have a key but the washroom was locked and no one came out for an hour . I complained as I really needed a restroom and it was memorial day weekend . Big sign bathrooms for customers only, I bought a tea and tipped but they wouldn’t let me is bathroom. I said “aren’t you nervous that someone is sick or dying in there “ they we’re oblivious, so either someone was really sick and they didn’t seem to care OR they were pretending they didn’t have a key but either way bad customer service ! there are plenty of tea places in Davis, don’t...
