First and last time at this establishment. I went here because Guads was extremely busy, biggest regret. The staff has a major attitude, walked in and I was being mean mugged right off the bat. Weird behavior. Then I ordered 2 crispy tacos and a drink, the front desk lady put it in when my friend mentioned the lunch special and to get that instead. I asked for that instead and she was fidgeting on the register for AWHILE. It came out to like 25$ + tip. Then after we got our food and left, my friend said she thinks I got overcharged. She stated she saw their lunch special for the 2 crispy tacos plate was supposed to be 9.99. I didn’t see that, the lady at the front didn’t tell me or change it, and my friend was the one who saw it and was confused as to why I paid so much more. She asked if I got extra stuff, I said nope.

Now let’s talk about the food…. Not good. The best thing I had was the guac and chips…. My friends quesadilla was bland. Meat unseasoned. Only white cheese used. They barely tried… my tacos were whatever. For the price I paid… super underwhelming. I’m not ever going back here. I advise yall not to waste your money and go...

Indoor seating has the benefit of being next to the salsa bar, but outdoor seating is available. I got a take-out order of three quesabirria tacos for $11.45 (before tax). This is a new menu item and was recommended to me by their very friendly staff. I was initially overwhelmed by the wide selection of items on their menu and the counter staff was helpful, patient in helping me order. I pass on their recommendation to you, the quesabirria tacos are truly worth a trip here. Tender, slow-cooked beef with aromatic spices paired with a corn tortilla and complemented with a drizzle of melted cheese. Even before dipping into the consommé, the tacos were flavorful on their own. Dipping it elevates the taste as the consommé coats and soaks into the tortilla as if it was meant to be a pair. Onions and lime were served on the side, a welcome addition to cut through the oil of the consommé. They also provide a spicy sauce that could be poured onto the taco or into the consommé. El Burrito Taqueria is a great, affordable option for Mexican food! Quick wait time too, it only took about 15 minutes to...

I would rate this place a -5 stars but it’s not an option. I’m highly convinced that this place does not have a manger. The staff is rude, not only did they not want to hand me my order, that I paid for May I note, but they laughed in my face. They were not short of attitude here. They close at 9 and refuse to answer customer calls after 8:30. They’ve asked before to take a picture of my bank account once. They’ve also proceeded to acknowledge that they have lied to me and have done nothing about it. I’ve been a server so I completely understand but at the same point it’s their job to talk to their paying and returning customers and if not to allow the manager to assist. I received a comment from an employee that none of the staff members no their manager nor have his or hers phone number. I’m completely and utterly appalled by their service at this point and will...

There are many great places to eat in Davis, but Taqueria El Burrito stands out! My partner and I had such a wonderful experience there. The carne asada fries are an absolute must-try—piled high with delicious guacamole and fresh vegetables, they were incredibly flavorful. Beyond that, every dish we tried tasted fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home, and the prices were just right. We can't recommend Taqueria El Burrito enough for a fantastic meal in Davis!

This place is overrated on Google! I always read reviews before going to a restaurant, and today I was disappointed. I ordered the 3 Quesabirria and the Fajita plate. The Quesabirria was below average—you could barely taste the cheese, and it was way toooo oily. I also didn’t like that they served it with double tortillas. The Fajita plate was better; the chicken was well-cooked, and the rice wasn’t bad. Overall, it was an average experience, and I feel misled by the previous reviews.
