Service was actually excellent and surprisingly friendly. Really high marks here.

The trivia was produced and run with incredibly high/professional production value and is arguably better than local competitors. Very impressed with this. The mandatory drinks to compete… not a fan of that rule at all, and it’s limiting people who might want to compete. But it’s “university of beer”… so you should kinda know what you’re getting into.

Drinks are reasonably priced for the area. Outdoors the chairs and tables are a bit uncomfortable, and since trivia takes hours it can be a bit taxing - so just note that. The outdoor area is very cute though and the whole area is very safe.

This establishment seems well run and was really impressed with what we saw overall tonight. Friendly and pretty controlled clientele, but it could differ on other nights for sure. Reviews will be spiky for...

We had avoided coming here due to the sports nature, bad music, and overly student vibe. However, on checking out their online beer menu decided to risk it. We were pleasantly surprised by their range and the quality of their sours/cider menu. We are also impressed by their policy on dogs. However, our friend with an 8 week old baby wished to join us to socialise on their way home from work via the local farmers market. They were asked to leave because the bar “ does not allow people under the age of 21 years on the premises”. They were not drinking, nor was their neonate. Consistently interesting beers, around 100 different on tap. If you like obscure craft beers you can't find normally then this is one of two places that cater to that niche. Whoever sources out the beers here really knows their way around beers, including more obscure varieties like dark ales, sours, and barrel aged. Staff is very knowledgeable about the beers are very happy to provide you with several free tasters to try before you buy. Outside sitting has a nice view of the street corner hustle and bustle.
