Kims Mart — Local services in Davis

An excellent little grocery store for those who need their Asian specialty foods. The meats & vegetables are fresh, the shelves are well stocked & Kim's also makes fresh meals daily at excellent prices. For a fraction of the price of other stores, you can get real lemongrass, bags of mung or soy sprouts. They have a range of teas, and the snack aisle is full of tasty treats from Japan. Very clean and friendly staff. However aisles are very narrow. There are a few items like soju or calamansi soda that can be found here but like most small marts with import goods they are not very receptive to feedback on product selection. Best place in Davis for staples and fresh vegetables and snacks. I go there for lunch a couple times a week because the homemade kimbap is really good, always fresh and very inexpensive! I also get groceries there like onions and potatoes, broccoli, salad greens and peppers because the prices are so good.
