Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Dayton

Placed an order through DoorDash for pick up as I had a coupon available and I was not feeling well, so I decided to go through the drive-through to attempt to pick up my order that way I would not risk getting anybody else sick. I called the store before I ever made the order to check and make sure that it would be okay to pick up through the drive-through phone just kept ringing and ringing and nobody would answer the phone at the store so I went ahead and placed my order and then proceeded to the store to pick up my order. When I pulled up to the speaker, I stated that I had a DoorDash order for pick up and I was requested to come inside. I explained the situation and I was told that orders must be picked up inside. I was not a DoorDash delivery driver, attempting to pick up a delivery order, I was the customer who already placed the order and it was ready for pick up this would have been no different than me, pulling up to the speaker, placing my order and paying while I waited at the window for them to pack the order, but in this case, it was already ready, but they did not seem to care. Just about anywhere else, you can pick up your DoorDash order through the drive-through. Ended up canceling the order. Will definitely not...

Went for a Chicken Pot Pie( purchased 2). I’ve had this from different locations.. and Normally Enjoy them. Got home, started eating mine only to find Breaded Chicken in it. Thought it was a mistake until it was Throughout the pie. Called the store in regards to this, to see if it was a mistake. Spoke to Misty the Manager that’s been there since 1994, stil not sure of the Relevance of being told this. Pot pies haven’t been and item that they served for 30+ years. She advised me that it was Chicken Tenders… my response was, it doesn’t advice that there would be Breaded Chicken in it.. her response it doesn’t say that there wouldn’t be. Asked for Corporate phone number.. called and left message, still no reply. My daughter went to the regular one that we go to, and Verified with the employee if it would be regular or breaded. Their response… regular, they have never heard of chicken tenders being put in Chicken pot pie. The one with the tenders was Nasty.. if I wanted tenders, I’d order some. Boyyyyy I wish getting them to drop food longer was not such a job. They really act like they don't want to do it !! They will say we have some that came up but while fresh is great I want them fresh AND dropped longer. The point is so they do not get soggy by the time they are at my destination and to ensure they are fresh and hot ..doing it makes it not only taste better but it is necessary if you do not want Luke warm or chicken that is a bit soggy and only warm not hot because that's exactly what I get if I don't ask. They dropped them longer after I returned but gave me the wrong food had to go back in a second time and it was good. Sure they were nice about the mistake but please stop making it seem like asking it to be dropped longer is such a job... it's your job man just do it Edit.. however it's at every location I've went to. Sometimes they refuse all together. I wish I understood how it could disrupt any process. It's 1 to 2 mins max to do.
