This Starbucks was the worse SB I’ve ever been to hands down. Next time I go to Daytona Beach for vacation I will make sure to stay away from this location. I ordered 2 venti white chocolate mochas, a banana nut bread & a breakfast sandwich for my wife & I. As usual, they asked me for my name which is foreign & hard to pronounce… it’s Mark. After calling out other customer’s names, the server put out my order without calling my name, or even stating what she had put out. When I saw the food out I went to check it to see if it was my food, but since I didn’t see my name on the labels I thought it must’ve belonged to someone else. Then I saw two venti cups on the counter & asked if they belonged to me since my name wasn’t on those labels either. The server rudely said something to the effect that if they were what I ordered then they were mine. So then I asked about the food that was still there & she told me that if my name wasn’t on the bags it wasn’t mine. So we waited. Several minutes later the same rude server then called out the food that was in the bags that I had previously asked about. Indeed it was the food I had ordered. I have never denied food & demanded a refund at a SB’s before. But I did today. And just to think that I gave a tip for two horrible mochas & even worse customer service. Read moreThis is more of a review for the company itself it’s pretty insane that a multi million or billion dollar company that makes expensive coffee can’t even manage to order a good selection of sugar-free syrups for those of us who cannot have sugar.
At least you had two options and you got rid of the one why and didn’t replace it why? So all we get is vanilla and we have to pay an up charge for it as if they actually cost more than any other syrup that’s Ludacris. You also should have a gluten-free option for breakfast sandwich since nobody really does that’s fast food that would make you a lot of money from a business owners perspective you’re losing so much money for these two simple things you should probably hire me for a CEO. Read moreThe staff is disorganized, 7 kids behind the counter, only 1 young lady knows how to mix a venti iced coffee. The young man behind the register could care less when asked where is the plain hot coffee you ordered on the APP 15 min ago? He was quick to say, “yeah I’ll give you a refund.” Not, “ I’m sorry, I know we made 2 sandwiches for you & a venti pumpkin; let me get your plain coffee.” Really? So I spend $23 and instead of saying let me quickly get that, he would rather leave the customer without coffee, upset, now 2 COLD sandwiches. The venti drink was ready at 907am and at 9:22am we still had no coffee? If you don’t understand coffee etiquette or customer service, I’m sure there is someone who does. I don’t know who manages this store, but they need to return to management resource CEUs. Always busy, always some customer handling all the orders because they think it’s theirs, gross, and staff doesn’t care!
