Spot in the neighborhood close to the college food was ok salmon croquette breakfast( salmon croquettes had that lil round crunchy backbone in it they didn't sort that out of the meat; I don't like that in my croquettes ugh; they was seasoned good) with side of pancakes (cakes was not so good dense n not fluffy; I did like that they was already cut up; need a new pancake batter recipe). Service was excellent gentleman took my order and serve me well. Atmosphere was great too; nostalgic feel clean and together like a food spot around a HBCU would be. Yep. They getting a full 5 Stars from me. Anytime you can eat some cold pancakes, and them junts be gah, you know you getting 5. And the coldness was on me, not them. In town for Spring break, I order food for my son and all his friends. I went on a Thursday to let them know what I needed, they said bet we'll have the food ready. And it was, hot and fresh! Packed and ready for me. I let my plate get cold because I was running around. We had 12 pancake plates (4 bacon, 4 sausage, 4 turkey sausage). They kids DEMOLISHED them. I will definitely go back. Sooooooooooooooooo freaking good for a nice portion & traditional meal. I decided to get a French toast w/sausage egg cheese. The soft & moist French toast was crazy not only that but you figured with a round sausage it wouldn’t work. But it worked perfectly. Sausage was nicely cooked with a nice soft char around the edges , eggs moist & fluffy. In the end you’re going to get a phenomenal quick & tasty meal. As well as excellent customer service.
