Algha Restaurant — Restaurant in Dearborn Heights

I have been ordering from this restaurant for years, at least three to four times a week. Yesterday I ordered a whole chicken which is $18. As I was paying for my order I looked at the bag that had my order and I realized as if it's empty. I exited the Restaurant and opened the bag to find that the chicken is at least half the size of my previous orders. Also the whole chicken used to come with a bag of flat bread loaves, which was not in it. However they are still charging the same price. The chicken would not feed a single person yet three people which the previous order fulfilled. I called the Restaurant and explained my disappointment. I told the cashier that I would not be returning to the Restaurant anymore. If a Restaurant is under new management you are supposed to improve not cut back. Me and 2 of my son's went for a walk and as we were walking we got hungry after walking by them...lol, and decided to go in and try it out since we never been there and let me tell you, I'm so glad we stopped. There pricing is everything and the food is so good that it taste way better then fast food (like McDonald's for instant). They have wonderful service. The young lady that took our order was so very polite and a joy to talk to while we were waiting for our food. I got me and my son's a cheeseburger each and they came with fries and a pop. I literally walked out of there with spending under $24. I will continue to go here from now on. I can't wait to try some of the other thing's that they have to offer! I have been coming here for years and I had no problem what so ever.However ,todays visit would be my last .Both the food and the service was horrible.The kebab was cold and they completely disregarded the substitutes I made on the sandwich. I specifically asked for extra garlic and Tahini sauce ,I got neither ,not the extra nor the regular portions that come with the order . Surprisingly the owner was there and he prepared all this ,the FOH worker was in her own little world .I went elsewhere to pick up garlic sauce and I’m never stepping foot in this dump again .The Evening CHEF does a better job at cooking than the owner ,It’s a shame .
