P.F. Chang's — Restaurant in Dearborn

I'll start by stating that my family and I love PF . Typically we go to the PF in Livonia- Always on point- We only have ever had one mishap when I ordered Mongolian Beef and it was overcooked. The manager came right over and apologized and brought a fresh new one and made it right and allowed us to enjoy the remainder of our dinner.

However, we were in the Dearborn area and decided to stop by for the first and unfortunately last time.

The Dearbon PF- Absolutely Shocking Customer Lack of Service.

Ordered CRISPY Honey Chicken for the kids. Literally was not a lick of crisp on it, soggy and wet. Understandable, as my personal experience in the industry as a manager have taught me things can and will get messed up from time to time. After waiting for several minutes for our waiter to come check on us, (I had to ask the dining host to grab him for us) I explained the issue and dissatisfaction of the standard of the entree. He looked perplexed as though I was speaking another language. He then offered "Next time ask for it well done" ; Uhhh. Im sorry in all the times we've ordered it at other locations its been crispy and never had to ask for it "well done". I mean it's literally on the menu as CRISPY Honey Chicken. I then had to bare through awkward silence as I then had to ask for a manager. Again after several minutes (mind you it was not busy at all; maybe 5 tables altogether) Manager comes and asks whats the issue. After explaining the issue he aloofly says "thats unfortunate, there's nothing we can do" and literally walks away. Not even an apology? Really just ridiculous and unfortunate.

If you have never dined at PF, please don't get discouraged as I do reccomend PF for their great flavor family style dining experience; I just sincerely warn you to stay the heck away from the Dearborn location if you're looking for an experience better than...

Came here this past Sunday night on a once in a blue moon date. Hubby took me out for my birthday, we had reservations at benihana around the corner. Went there ordered and we're very disappointed with literally everything. Left there and went to PF changs. The atmosphere was quiet romantic and laid back. The service was so very professional. Ryan took care of us and we got the dinner for 2. He was very patient and explained everything so we understood what we were getting in the deal. The food was AMAZING. This is my husband's favorite restaurant and we live near the partridge creek location however the past few times hasn't been that great. This location at the FairLane Shopping Center is the best in the city! They reeled me back in to want to frequent the restaurant more, and showed me what I've been missing. I hope the other locations can bring themselves back up to the Dearborn standards. Everything was so perfect and cooked excellent. The flavor in the sesame salad was to die for! The lettuce wraps were extra fresh and superb quality (even nearing closing time). The entrees were prepared perfect with the right amount of flavor and the meat was so tender. Everything was wonderful and I wish I lived closer to this location because I just don't think the others can top the service here. This was by far the best dining experience we have had in a LONG time! Thanks for a great experience...

A friend and I went to this location and were seated, reluctantly by the staff, in a booth near a window. The people at the front podium were very nice, but when we were seated, the table was very sticky. I asked the waitress if she could wipe down the table and she said, rather snarkily, "It's not sticky, the tables are just old!" I lifted my arm and showed her that my sleeve was still stuck to the table. She wiped it off and said, again, that the tables were old. I took my knife and scraped off a bunch of layers of icky sticky stuff. The wiping off didn't help at all. The area where the table met the wall was full of crumbs and bits of food, as was the back of the seat where the seat and seat back met. The floors were filthy. I looked at other booths and tables and they were, likewise, sticky and had food crumbs in the seats ad where the table met the wall. Individual tables appeared sticky and I heard people complaining about it. Place mats are in order, as you don't want to put your utensils on other people's old, eaten, food. On the bright side, the food was great and the portions were good, even though the waitress was not attentive. A bit pricey, but worth it.
