Arby's — Restaurant in Decatur

I’m writing this review with a serious pit in my stomach. I was excited to try a burger from Arby's; it looked amazing when I got it. But that excitement quickly turned to disgust and concern. One bite in, and I knew something was terribly wrong – the burger was RAW. Not just a little undercooked, but completely raw in the middle. I had to cut it open to confirm, and the entire patty was pink and uncooked. This is completely unacceptable and a serious food safety hazard. I went back to the restaurant to complain, and the response was even more disturbing. They insisted the burger was "cooked" because they use a timer. Apparently, multiple customers had already complained about the same issue, and even the staff and manager were concerned! They offered me other menu items, but I refused. The fact that they were aware of the problem and still serving these burgers is appalling. I won't be going back to Arby's anytime soon, and I definitely won't be ordering anything from them again. This experience was enough to turn me off completely. Avoid this place...

I've always enjoyed the food there. Until...I ordered a drink (strawberry lemonade), let me add, I have a sensitivity to cold, and some drinks are extremely cold due to the amount of ice put in the drink. First, I ordered no ice, I was told that I couldn't order with no ice, so I changed it to light ice. Well, I was told I couldn't modify my drink. So, let me get this straight. I'm spending my money and I can't get what I want. The reasoning behind this is that the lemonade is costly, and therefore, I have to take my drink filled with ice. So, I kindly took my order without a drink and went to Zaxbys, which was out of my way, but they had no hassle over me ordering with light ice or no ice. Great service with a smile. It was quick from placing my order til the time I got my tray maybe total 2 mins at the most. The young lady who took my order was nice n Thorough. The food was excellent. I ordered 2 sliders and some curly fires. Fries and sliders were fresh and hot. My 1st time buy the new lemonade... OMG the strawberry lemonade was really darn good. It was tart which is what i want in a lemonade. It also was sugary, something that hits heavy on stomach, which isnt a favorite of mine. I will however order the lemonade from here on out. Yes it was strong sugar wise BUT it was an excellent drink and i find nyself craving it now. All n all it was a perfectly good lunch. Even rang the bell when I left. Thanks Arby's for great lunch.
