Chick fil a is chick fil a…food is always pretty much what’s expected. Issues always seem to be the competence when it comes to service. Drive thru is almost always backed out to the road. As a GM of a restaurant, I wonder why this issue can’t be planned for and prevented. I’m sure I could remedy this issue.
A few days ago I visited and went inside to order my to go meal (because of the drive thru line always being unnecessarily long). I ordered 3 chicken biscuits with no butter, paid, threw my receipt in the trash, and waited for my food. I received my food and dove all the way back home to Hartselle. When we opened the bag, there were only two biscuits with butter and without chicken.🤦 I called and spoke with the manager Sarah (if that’s really her name….she was reluctant to give it) who was more worried about me having the receipt to look up the order than making it right. Wasn’t gonna argue over $12 so I let it go.
However, today my son and I went before school. I sent him inside to get the food because once again the drive thru was backed out to the road. I waited about 15-20 mins and proceeded to go see what the hood up was. THEY WERE OUT OF BISCUITS!!!! He had to wait on them to make more. How, at 8am are u out of biscuits??
All of this points to one thing and one thing only. Horrible management with poor planning and leadership.
I’ll be back…because let’s be honest, everyone loves chick fil a. However, I do hope there is a management change. Maybe Sarah should consider taking a job at McDonald’s or somewhere else where expectations...
Read moreI have been eating at Chick fil a for 55 years. I have never had a bad experience that entire time until today. I have eaten at the Dwarf House and many mall stores before stand alone stores came out. I have met the Cathy family and have very high regard for this company. Today...order was very slow to come out even though the store was not that busy. Had to clean my own table of the number of dirty tables in the dining room. When our food arrived a third of it was missing. The young man said he would get it, but never returned. My wife finally went up to get the food and waited another five minutes before any would would help, though a number walked by. I'm fed up at this point and went to speak with the manager. A young man went to get her and came back 2 minutes later asking if he could help me instead. I told him he could help me by getting the manager. She finally came out and I expressed all this to her. She apologized and explained they had only been open three weeks and the staff isn't well trained yet. I told her that I knew they had extensive training before opening and three weeks should be sufficient to work out bugs. Again, super disappointing experience. The new Decatur, Alabama location needs some assistance. One final point was the food was great...once we...
Read moreI love Chick-fil-A and will not deny that. I have been to many a Chick-fil-A in a large number of cities/states so I feel as though I have a good point of reference. I know Chick-fil-A naturally sets our standards higher because they are always TOP NOTCH so I’m trying to keep that same perspective. All things considered, this Chick-fil-A was a Chick-FAIL-A. Curbside was unavailable (I always order in the app) so I had to sit in the drive thru. Even McDonalds or Starbucks - known for their lengthy drive thru line time - would have been quicker. Normally when you see 20+ cars in the drive thru you don’t expect to sit there for half an hour, which is how long I was in line. This is most frustrating because there is no way for me to change my mind (before I’m even close to ordering/checking in) and leave because of the layout of this location. Therefore, I was stuck in this line for 25mins (unable to leave) before I could even let them know I was there and then another 10mins before I received my food and could leave (and later realize I didn’t even get everything I had ordered). I will not be going back to...
