LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Decatur

I absolutely love LongHorn steakhouse. They have amazing steaks. They have amazing staff. All of their food is fresh and they have ingredients to make the food that you want that is on the menu.

Unlike a lot of other places. Cough Chick-fil-A cough which I know comparing a steakhouse to a fast food chicken restaurant is two entirely different things but I've went to longhorn steakhouse every time. Chick-fil-A has not been able to give me a salad or a chicken wrap because of unforeseen and crazy events but anywho longhorn steakhouse steaks, salads, heck anything on their menu. I've never had anything bad.

The only kind of negative experience I had was a steak that was supposed to be medium. Rare came out pretty much rare like blue rare and don't get me wrong. I love some rare stuff but this was pretty much uncooked spoke to the manager about it. He took the steak off and got me another one and gave me his card and told me he would help me out the next time I came so that right there automatically fixed the problem and made me want to return again another time so that man knows how to do business.

So from the staff to the management to the atmosphere it is 110%. Awesome. I love this place. I will continue to go back time and time again and I will gladly pay top dollar for their food because it is totally worth it and they make it amazing and delicious hats off to their chefs even though that one steak that one time came out blue it still tasted amazing but it was just very hard to chew haha 🤣 But like I said they fixed that issue.

They have a strawberry pretzel pecan salad that is out of this world. Good. The only thing I would say is that be cautious of the dressing. It is very good but it is super acidic and you don't need but maybe half of one of the small cups they give you and they give you two big ones. So that's just my personal opinion. Like I said it all still tastes amazing. It was just a little too overpowering with that much, but I would much rather them give me too much dressing versus 95% of other establishments who don't ever give you enough or try to charge you for extra. So this is a good thing overall 100%

I stopped drinking over a month ago but I've had drinks along with my wife from here before and they are amazing. The bartenders are out of this world. Funny, awesome and will tell you straight and they make amazing drinks.

Terrible Customer Service on Father's Day! I had a party of 5 and was told we had a wait time of 1.5hrs which was understandable and not an issue being that it was Father's Day! After 1hour 40mins, I checked back with the host to get a update on time. He said they are cleaning our table off now it should be 5mins. After 15mins I checked back and he said table is ready he just waiting on the server. So we wait longer even longer! Now I notice a party of 3 get seated that had only been waiting 15mins and others getting seated also. Now I'm upset because we've been waiting over 2 hours and our table supposedly was ready 30mins ago, also there text app tells where our place is on the wait list. Now I ask to see a manager because the host is saying the server is on the way to work and haven't got there yet. She comes up explaining that others that waited less time is getting seated because they can sit in smaller areas. We seen that the party of 3 was sit a a booth that we easily could have sit! So I tell her I was told our table was ready over 30mins ago which was a high top and we didn't have preference we just want to be seated. She then says if we don't want a high top they'll find somewhere else to sit. I told her then we were never offered to be seated anywhere, we were told we would be getting a high top but the server haven't made it to work yet. She agreed that the server not being at work yet is not our problem and we should have never been told that but she then says she does not like our attitude and we would not be served...

Wowow this restaurant is soo clean. Waaaay better then some of the other places in Decatur Alabama. We was greeted by Miranda. And she had a trainee with her. And they were Soo Soo lovely. We started off by the shrimp 🍤 appetizers it has spicy peppers 🌶️ cooked into it.. the batter is fish fry batter and it's sooo awesome 💯 And a huge portion for two people. Then we ordered our steaks. The 6oz sirloin is a little tough to eat if you order it medium cooked. I ordered the ribeye and that didn't disappoint at all. Very very tasty. They was out of the Brussel sprouts, so I went with the Mac and cheese and the rice pilaf. that was sooo sooo good. Very tasty. Definitely didn't disappoint. They serve fresh baked wheat loaf of bread and butter. We ended up getting 2 of those. And we also ordered a cheesecake.😋💕 The only thing that I forgot to do was to ask for no salt on the steak because it does run a little too salty for my taste. But this restaurant I give a million stars if I could.. this is a very nice restaurant. We was there February 27th Thursday night. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food and. Atmosphere. And I highly recommend the ribeye it's a very tender juicy meat....
