Doherty's Pub — Restaurant in Decatur

We were with a group tonight for dinner. Half the group received their food and the rest of us waited at least 15 minutes to get our food. There were 13 of us. When our order finally came out, one of the burgers didn't have bacon which was ordered as an extra, the other burger came out with none of the toppings (lettuce, pickle, and tomato) and the waitress (who took this order) had to be told it was missing. One order with steak was cooked wrong and had to be taken back, and miraculously came back out within 5 minutes cooked correctly. Two side dishes of asparagus never made it out and when stated that was ordered instead of the broccoli that was brought out, the waitress stated she just found out from the kitchen. This was false because she told one of the women in the group who received their food first that they were out of asparagus and did not tell the other woman anything about the asparagus. She NOT ONCE apologized or gave any explanation for the food being late or not bringing the correct food. The business was crowded at one point, but no reason for half of the group's food to arrive 15 min after the first group was finished with their food and without any apology or acknowledgement. It was okay. They had decent priced drinks,like beer specials,which was good,and the selection of beer was also very accommodating and a factor that would make me choose to return. The place smelled like mold/mildew but i figured it's a pub so oh well(TURNS OUT it just used to be a bowling alley...i'm not from the area so I had no clue!). I ordered the steak(i dont know why i ordered steak from an irish pub but i was in the mood for it) which was a mis-steak,i got it medium rare,and i guess it was?but it had no sear whatsoever on the outside,was a weird pinky color outside and in,and tasted kind of hamburger-y. I ate it anyway as I didnt want to upset my date nor our waitress(because she was very polite).

My boyfriend ordered the grilled salmon which I tried and it was delicious(first time i've ever tried fish),and we got a combo as our appetizer(we picked fried pickles,mozz sticks,and garlic bread)and they were all very good as well! We got there about 7 on a Saturday night. It took almost an hour for a seat, not really a big deal because everything is just opening back up and I am happy to see businesses busy. There was a table nearby that was ordering and I overheard the waitress/bartender say she was out of sweet tea and not making more. The dining room was full, and more than one person at that table asked for tea. After getting our seat and ordering, it took us an hour for our appetizer. We had a party of 4 and we ordered 2 appetizers. One of the people in our party never got her salad and another was wrong. By the time we had waited over an hour and a half for our food we really werent very hungry and took it to go. I have been here a few times and I have not been impressed with the service...
