Their pork to fried rice ratio is fantastic. Packed with good amount of pork chunks for that source of PROTEIN.

Sesame chicken sauce is nice and tart. It’s like the restaurant version of Trader Joe’s orange chicken except it was made by an Asian family with love.

I eat half and save the other half for later. Excellent portion size to price ratio. Panda Express has nothing on Cathay kitchen.

My wife and I order out every other weekend. Cathay Kitchen is at times our “go-to” place to order from. Compared to other Chinese cuisines this is by far the best to order from. However, I did read other reviews and one in specific, really caught my attention. “Cathay Kitchen is good, but at times the food is very inconsistent.” Very true! Sometimes you’ll get the best ribs, and others you’ll just get some overcooked, dry ribs.

Overall Cathay Kitchen is a very good place to order from. I’ve physically been inside Cathy’s kitchen and it seems like a very clean, good hygiene environment. Front desk cashier is Nasty and moody and unpleasant, her approach is harsh. She ignored my details for the moo shi to be less soy. It was drenched in heavy duty dark saucer making it smell and simply inedible. I quickly lost appetite from trash to the outside trash. Simply nasty. The quality changed.
