Salem Food market catered our event at the Postal Service. They had one day's notice because of a glitch. Freddie shopped, prepared, packaged and had delivery to us at 7:30 AM next day. His delivery driver arrived early,set up the whole tables of food with a beautiful presentation for 125 people without one glitch. The food was fresh, the bread was delicious and soft. The antipasto and salads so abundant they fed the crew through all shifts with more left over for the next day. He provided drinks and all the condiments,silverware as well as extra salad dressing.He left nothing out but executed this task, at the last moment, like a well oiled machine. Salem Food has exactly that "Great Food", as well as a dedicated owner alongside hard working employees who are willing to go the extra mile for their patrons. The owner is a veteran who gives back ten fold providing free meals to veterans on Tuesdays. I can’t say enough about how amazing Salem food market is! I was planning my parents 50th wedding anniversary and having a small gathering about 30 people. Freddie and his crew came through with great food. We ordered meatballs , chicken and broccoli and a mixture of finger sandwiches everything was delicious and people were raving about the meatballs! There was a mixup in my family about who ordered what and when. That’s when I realized I may not have enough food, and I reached out to Freddie. He came through with a short time window and didn’t hesitate to make my parents event fantastic. All while he and his staff were also busy with other holiday orders and making meals for the local homeless shelter. There’s a difference between good food and good food made with genuine care! Amazing! Truly the kindest most generous people ever! I last minute ordered food for my grad party, and even though the day of my party they were closed, they not only made the food on their day off, but(I believe her name was Britney, she was very pretty and sweet), dropped it off at my venue, and truly they went above and beyond. There are no words I could use to describe how incredible their service is. The chicken and fries were an absolute hit, I got about 70 for a group of 45 and they were absolutely devoured them, the fries were so so good as well, and truly they were just so kind. Everyone their truly saved my butt, and their pricing was extremely affordable, the names I remember are Fred and Britney, but truly these were the best people, with the best food, and the best prices.
