This is a delightful spot for some fancier italian food. I've been here a couple of times and the food does not disappoint! I came during lunch time the other day and was happy with the choices and prices for each. I got the half salad and half pasta which were both good. I'm not sure if it's the same for dinner but during lunch they offer unlimited refills on the soup and salad which is a huge plus. They also provide bread at the table, although I do wish it were freshly baked after each batch and served warm. I got the bolognese pasta which was tasty but just a bit too salty for my preference. The wedge salad was good with the house dressing since I don't like blue cheese but the wedge wasn't fresh all around so I left most of it behind. I then got a Caesar salad as a refill which I didn't enjoy as much since the dressing had a strong anchovies taste. I also ordered two bellinis, one peach and one blood orange. Both were great and probably my favorite part of the meal. They serve an extremely fair portion. I didn't try my mother's food which was the squash ravioli and mediterranean salad but she enjoyed it a lot. We had the creme brulee for dessert and it was average compared to others we've tried. As for the atmosphere, it's calm and a bit more sultry. Our waitress was kind and constantly checked up on us.

Overall, the food is good, the ambience is nice, and the service is great. I'd recommend stopping by for a nice lunch and trying out the different salads and soups. This is a lot fancier than other chain italian restaurants but not as fancy as ones in the city. It's a perfect middle with fair prices and a decent experience....

This is not an amazing mom and pop Italian restaurant it’s a chain, and it shows up in everything from service to food. If you’re looking for an affordable, Americanized Italian meal, family friendly, and decent all around then come on in. Otherwise I’d look elsewhere.

Hostess couldn’t find our reservation Asked for no water (we don’t like the waste), water came out anyway. Sent it back, and yet, water was brought to us a second time. Took 20 minutes for our server to show up, and another 15-20 minutes for our drink order to arrive, and arrive incomplete. Service was SUPER slow and not very attentive. Bread was ice cold, asked for fresh bread, we got reheated hard bread. Asked for balsamic, it never came. Our dirty salad plates and app plates sat in front of us for a good 20 minutes before we had to ask to have them cleared and received a snarky comment just for asking. Shrimp and capellini entree came on a plate yet managed to be sitting in an inch think greasy oil soup. It was literally like a bowl of soup pasta. Shrimp were good but that’s about all.

Maybe all of the above are little things but little things add up. Why spend money here when a) you can go somewhere else and get better food/service or b) cook at home and make better food for less money? Dining out should be enjoyable and easy going. This place is 1/3 in my book and I will not be returning. Service was worse than the food and the food was very...

My boyfriend and I came in last night for dinner. (4/05/24) We sat and waited for a server to greet us for about 15 minutes. When she finally came, she got our drinks, and dropped them off. She did not ask if we wanted any appetizers or to order anything else. It took her some time to get our orders because she was busy sitting down at a table and hanging out with her friends (or other costumers). Once she came back she didn’t write down anything we ordered, and when the food got delivered my boyfriend got the complete wrong entree. He eventually got the correct entree, and she did not come by once to see if the food was okay. Mind you, it was a very quiet Friday night. All 5 tables around us were completely empty. When I asked for to go boxes, she went and sat down with her friends again to chat. My drink was empty and I was not about to wait another 10 minutes for a box, so I went to the bar and ordered a glass of wine as well as to go boxes. When she saw I took matters in my own hands, she came by and dropped off the check. She then rushed back off without offering us any other drinks or desserts. My boyfriend and I then went back to the bar to order another round and have some tiramisu. The guy bartender was super friendly and accommodating. However being that I am a full time server / bartender myself, this service was really sad to see. Especially when paying for over...

The Biaggi's in Kildeer, IL is my favorite one. Even though there is one that may be a little closer to where I live, I drive the extra mile to the Kildeer location. The staff there always goes the extra mile. Today I had the most amazing "avocado toast" and eggplant parmesan. The appetizer was so pretty and tasted as delicious as it was elegant. The eggplant parmesan was the best I have had in a really long time. In the past I have loved their goat cheese, arugula and beet salad. Especially with some grilled salmon on top. Their focaccia bread is so moist and yummy. This restaurant is a favorite of mine to meet friends for lunch. It is always clean and comfortable. When I am dining alone, I enjoy sitting at the counter at the friendly bar.
