Calm atmosphere. The server was polite. But this place is NOT that great when it comes to hospitality for NEW customers or for a family with kids. Also, there is no baby changing station. When we asked them if they had a baby-changing station, they just said "no," and that was it. It wasn't like we were in super busy hours. Rather, it was quiet. I needed to change her diaper and the baby was crying in the middle of our dinner, but the host or our server didn't CARE to TRY to help or offer us at least a corner where we can change the diaper for everyone's sake(not just for us but also other dine-in customers as well). We ended up finishing our food in a hurry and getting the heck out of there WITHOUT changing the diaper. The food was good enough, but it was NOT really a pleasant dining experience for a family with a kid and a baby. Maybe we were led to a table very close to the entrance/exit because we have a baby? It was our first time visiting here since we moved..and left the place sad. I'm not likely to come back for a while. I KNOW it is not mandatory to have one, NOR is it Disney World, but it is the little CARE from your host or server you need when you dine in. I hope the owner takes this as constructive criticism and do something about this UNLESS we are not their target customers or want us to come back. I am saying ALL this because I saw the lady who looked like she owned this place, greeting other customers with hugs and a big smile and talking to them for a while, too. Maybe they were all longtime or/and big-spending customers, so we don't expect that kind of welcome. BUT at least when we(another group of customers here) needed some help, she COULD have done something-like offering that empty semi-room space just to quickly change the diaper. The place was not busy. If you had time to greet and hug your other precious customers for 5 minutes, you could have given us 5 seconds of...
Read morethis little place is quite a gem! my friend suggested we stop in for dinner so we did and WOW it was incredible. everything we had was so delicious, flavorful, and fresh!! our server David was very tentative, and super sweet. thanks David!
we got the golden shrimp as an appetizer. i wasnt sure what this was going to be, but we had a go for it. you have to get this! the shrimp was perfect- had a nice char grilly taste and was swimming in this amazingly delicious “golden sauce”. 10/10 totally recommend!!!

Read moreI've been coming to this sushi restaurant for the past 6 years, at least once per year, when I have to travel here for work. I've always loved it, but now I'm just disappointed. I will say first that their sushi is fantastic. The quality of all the fish is excellent, and the portion sizes are very good. But the prices here have just gotten INSANE! I've seen the pricing rise steadily every year, but now it's just absolutely ridiculous. I eat sushi all over the country, in restaurants that serve fish just as good, with portion sizes just as big, but everything in this place is literally twice as expensive as anywhere else I eat. It's good sushi, but it's just not worth the outrageously high prices. $10 for 2 pieces of salmon nigiri (the cheapest fish in any sushi restaurant) is what you would maybe expect to pay in downtown Chicago at a really high-end restaurant...not out here in the suburbs. $6 is the highest that most places charge for something like that. Sorry to say that tonight was my last visit to...
