Fat Tuesday at Deerfield Beach — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

I went here with my mom to get drinks for our beach day. We went in because we saw drinks advertised at $10 not including tax or tip. Instead of what they advertised, they charged us just under $50 for 2 regular sized drinks that weren’t very good. We would have been better off going to 7/11. The cashier girl was very rude to my mother when she was asking questions about the prices and things to do in the area. My mother is a very soft spoken woman and was so embarrassed. I had to keep reassuring her that she had done nothing wrong and that the girl was probably just in a bad mood. It took a lot of will power not to go back in and give them a piece of my mind but I didn’t want to stress my mom out more. We had a HORRIBLE experience. I am happy there is a Fat Tuesday close to home. My boyfriend and I went here late at night and it packed and busy. We got the yard dog size daiquiri which is the biggest size drink they have there. We also ordered the mini hot dogs which comes with chips and it taste good . Also, we ordered the cheeseburger sliders that also comes with chips but we weren’t a fan of these as the burger patties taste like frozen food and not fresh , It reminded me of a water park burger or even a school lunch burger . Overall, service was great and the server was very nice as well as she was getting our drinks and making our food, which is a lot for 1 person to do so hopefully more people can work at this location because I can imagine how it is in the day time! The gentlemen at the front door would not let us in because we didn't have our IDs on us. We are 48 and 49 years old with gray hairs. He was rude, disrespectful and should be reprimanded. I am a local my whole life in the area. I only want great success for Fat Tuesdays and we're excited over here. Very familiar with the one in Fort Lauderdale but even happier that one opened up closer to our home. I walk by the place a lot and it's always empty.
